I left 5 minutes early yesterday. Don't normally do that but had to get home asap as my Mrs had her work xmas party and i needed to be at the central for the 5.30 train to salisbury so i could be home by 8. As far as i'm concerned people who have paid their cash can come and go as they like.

About 75% of the Family Stand leave 10 minutes early EVERY GAME. It doesn't happen anywhere else. It's a problem.

Number of reasons behind this but biggest issue is crap road system which leads to virtual gridlock and shit public transport

Have we ever had the "sold out" signs out, ever ???? So its not a problem until we get to the point where we deny entrance into the CCS when there are available seats.

Oh right, so it used to piss you off being billeted about but now your there you don't really care seems to be your attitude.

What about those who would like to sit behind the goals who are 'still' being 'billeted' around the ground as you say and have to look at an empty family stand week in week out.

Those that are missing out on the Family experience, the pre match games, magicians, whatever they got there.

Of course its a problem, irrespective of whether we sell out or not.

Iv hered that argument used on here before that untill we sell out the rest of the ground its not a problem and quite frankly its ridiculous.

What can the club do? Quite simply deny repeat offenders the opportunity to renew their season tickets if they miss over a certain % of games without genuine reasons. The seats will soon be taken up by other family's who would like to attend and sit in that area of the ground.

There will be plenty of family's to take their place, especially once we reach the Premiership.

For the record, I hered earlier that the Club are privately very unhappy, particularly after yesterday and are going
to be having another look at the situation over the coming weeks.

Maybe Annis or Carl could verify this?

I don't think that will work. If they have paid their money for the seat for the season they can do whatever they want with it. Also, it's easy to get round this by getting a new fan number each year.

The only way to solve it is to put £100 on top of the current kids prices and punish those who currently come to every game but getting rid of those who dont. I can't see them doing that unless they use the excuse of putting up prices because of premiership football when the price freeze finishes in 18 months time.

It got mentioned up the post, but for those not in the family stand you should see the concorse after half time. Sometimes it is packed down there. My 2 yesterday didn't come back for the whole second half they stayed out the back playing with other kids. game is on the tv's out there. it's all part of their enjoyment and experience of the day out at football. They hardly miss a game, but do miss a big chunck of actually sitting in the stands

We got to remember where the club has come from..... In my early days we would get 5500 ~ 6300. Now we have a stand that big dedicated to families, so the initial promotion of £11 season ticket for the u9's looked like a great idea filling unused seats with the next generation.
£56 for U16's is a good deal so, maybe the £11 has to go

We just need a bigger family section but as we are land locked by the away fans and the grandstand why not offer a family section in 124. I loved it there, drop the U9, up the U16 to around £80 and obviously the adult is the standard ST price.
