Change the f*cking record he was talking about the atmosphere for fucks sake.
Every b*stard thread you bring the rebrand up

^ listen to this guy. He talks a lot of sense. :ayatollah:

Im all for diference of opinion but we all know his and the few others views on the rebrand but they keep on and on about it even when the thread has f**k all to do with it..

Exactly. Malky trying to stoke up the atmosphere is all it is.

The same atmosphere that was shit LAST SEASON, before the rebrand.

I'd be interested if the knockers could come up with a list of grumbles as to
why they hated Tan LAST season too, cos it didn't start with the rebrand, we
all know that.

It's not our club. Tan made it quite clear what he thought of the fans when he did the rebrand.

We've got £££ in our eyes, that's all.

I think what the vast majority are trying to say is it IS our Club. Owners come and
owners go. This one has dramatically restructured the Club when former owners
had almost destroyed it (would you agree) He has given the Manager pretty much a
free rein to bring in who he wants in terms of Physios, coaches, dieticians, players.
(would you agree)

He has DEFINITELY run roughshod over the feelings of many fans with the rebrand.
But sadly, he gauged the reaction pretty well. There are too many new supporters
that dont have the affiliation to the colours or the badge that people like you and
I do. These have taken the changes on board without a hiccup. So in fact Tan could
be forgiven for saying "The fans are happy!!"

Dont get me wrong, I'm not happy and never will be. I could just about accept the
red if we get the old badge back, or at least a predominant Bluebird. Tan has pumped
his money in and has decided to go with his 'lucky colour'... Ok. But I cannot see any
reason why he will not change that revolting beer mat.

I'm just playing Devils Advocate here. We have to accept that the rebrand HAS gone
through, and pretty seamlessly. We cant tell the new 'modern football' fans to f**k
off.

But what pisses me off is that Tan was getting it from all sides last season and the season
before. Long before the rebrand was ever even thought about. He was supposed to f**k
off last summer. He wasnt backing the manager. He was going to rip us off. etc etc etc.

Nobody has EVER come up with proof of any of the above. Tan is still here, he is backing
the manager to the hilt. But now, for many... all the rebrand is, is another stick to beat
him with.

Nobody can come up with a viable scenario where he's ripping us off with the £100m debt
either. Loan or debt to equity.. We will STILL owe the money to Tan and he can STILL try
and take it if he goes. Cardiff City would go back to square one. People like you and me
would STILL be Cardiff City supporters.

So in that sense. Cardiff City Football Club will ALWAYS be ours!!!

I agree with everything you have written there.

Apart from e colour. You'd rather have old badge than blue, I'm the other way around.

Much rather have blue back with a different badge.

I dont have ££££ in my eyes i just like going to watch a football match and have done since 82 so hardly a plastic.
For most there's more important things in life than moping about worrying about a badge or colour..

You misunderstand me - Tan does not care about fans, all he sees in our eyes are £££.

Maybe I should have worded it better.

No chairmen cares about the club the days of jack walker are gone.
Sam changed the badge and also fecked us over with his lies and so did the riddler .
Tan is no diferent and neither will any future owner.
You say all Tan sees is £££ signs can you tell me what owner doesn't?
Anyone that legitimatly lends money or invests in a business will want a return somewhere down the line

Where were these great people when we were on our arses?
All these welsh multi millionaires must be kicking themselves that they lost out on the chance to throw millions of pounds into cardiff city for nothing because they love the club ..

What's that got to do with anything? You claimed there were no chairman who cared for clubs, and there are.

Jinks all the re branders said, it isn't our Club its Vincent Tan's and he can do what he likes with it !! TRUE ? But Malky's intentions in what he said was spot on i was just picking up on the "its our Club" bit which was a bit petty i know  . I just wanted to make the point.

You named one? Maybe you could say ambramovich ( spl )
You quoted Tan saying he's only in it for the ££££ when the vast majority of owners in football are so not really a relevant argument .

Abramovich is no different to Vincent Tan. He is pumping multi-millions into Chelsea
and if he decides to up and leave, anyone thinking he will just walk, without taking
millions out again is very naive. If these people cannot find buyers they will asset-strip
right down to the underwear.

Cardiff City are in no different a position to any other Club with a billionaire owner. If that
rich owner wants his money back, be it loaned, equity or a gift... he will have measures
in place to make sure he can take at least a huge chunk of it.

Difference between us, Chelsea, Man City, Leicester, Aston Villa etc etc etc...
