I have seen other campaigns try to get us returned to blue but in all honesty can anyone see Vincent Tan changing us back to blue any time soon, I can't.

If I could make a suggestion it would be to campaign to ensure the Bluebird remains an integral part of our badge.

This is the last bit of our 'tradition' and 'history' on our current kit and I would focus on keeping the bluebird before returning to blue.

I think there would be far more success and be more a more popular campaign with a lot more people because it is something to hold onto rather than something that we have lost, albeit whether we believe what we have lost to be a temporary loss or not.

As I say it is just a suggestion but it would be one I believe will have more chance of success and also will be seen as a 'less threatening' campaign towards Vincent Tan.

Is this worth discussing ?

Sensible suggestion :ayatollah:

One of the problems with that suggestion though Tony is that blue is NOT our away kit.

The club website and the club shop suggest it is , but ask those in charge of the club and they will confirm that blue is only ever to be worn when red cannot because of a colour clash.

As a result , our blue strip will only be worn 2 or 3 times between now and the end of the season.

Unfortunately people need to let go of the blue home kit thing. As long as Vincent Tan is running the gaf, it ain't gonna change!
The badge is up for negotiation as mentioned numerous times on here, but I personally believe everyone is wasting their time with petitions and what have you to get the home kit turned to blue!

With the recent re branding, investment and club progress it seems everything is working like clockwork right now, and a few petitions here and their isn't going to derail this red steam train!

I've accepted what's happened considering the circumstances along with 25k other fans who continue to turn up and support the club, so as far as Tan and rebrand are concerned so far it's been nothing but a success! Whether we like it or not...

And what are your views on asking VT to at least allow the team to play in blue in away games?

Will never let go, sorry but that's the way I am.

No problem if that's what you think, but people often say on here "you moan but do nothing about it" so, even if it flops massively, I can say I tried my bit.

25k fans that turn up? Haven't had that all season..

Where have I said that would happen? Stop putting words in my mouth.

A return would increase attendances though. No doubt.

Didn't say they all turned up at exactly the same time but there's always a rota of fans/walk ups that pick and chose games....

Why would a return to blue, with Malaysians still on board mean we would have to sell our players?

Bizarre logic.

My views on asking him to play in blue away from home are the same as the majority of Cardiff fans! We all want to see our original colour being worn(which isn't going to be at the CCS), but seeing as badge is more important to me than kit colour I will accept colour changes if the bluebird remains etc etc

Well done Chuckle boy. I know you are not exactly Mr Popular on this message board however what you are doing is in my opinion brilliant, and as long as you conduct everything in the ways you have suggested then I 100% back your petition. If only more fans were like you and tried to get the colour and identity we all love and miss. Carl isn't going to rock the boat because he enjoys his status as fans leader and wouldn't want to alienate himself by fans on each side of the blue/red fence which is fair enough imo. Let's just hope Tan actually listens to the thoughts of the people and doesn't take his stubborn stance and completely ignore us like he did in the summer :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
