You can do everything can't you. Maybe you can introduce yourself to Annis in Welsh.
"Prynawn da Annis, syt wyt chi?".
You claimed to do so too... But looking at how you wrote it there, you clearly can't
I can speak it to a degree I said. Yet again Chuckles you have turned this thread about you again throwing insults around.
Gav push button the.

Not at all. I'm training (later in life!) to be a man of the cloth! It's optional, but I have always been interested in languages

so yeah, not pointless, it's apart of our heritage and people like to have the ability to speak it and feel proud of it!

I think he means it's not that important and there are other issues, like I dunno, the poor economy and dealing with poverty?
I'm not against the welsh language, if people want to learn it then fantastic, butt it's that type of backward thinking that's leaving Wales lagging behind.

Welsh speakers in my eyes view it as a club and use it to say they are more Welsh than everyone. Most Welsh speakers are bitter for some reason. It's a clique that I do not want to be part of at the moment, attitudes must change before the whole country adopts the language.

how about riding a horse into England and shout for some freedom ffs.
the Welsh language is useless, and make you no more Welsh than someone who has no interest in it. Rugby is supposed to be our national sport, i hate it, does that mean i am not as Welsh as Dewi Evans from Porth
Concentrate on a better workforce and our tourism industry and make Wales a better place where people want to visit, because no one wants to visit because we speak a different language.

people may learn it but its hardly gonna become the first language of ely.
Id say more people in cardiff speak somali than welsh.
and if people do leasrn it what they gonna do with it...nothing thats what.
its like latin in so much they dont have enough vocabulary to express themselves properly in the modern day
Actually the language has grown most in Cardiff than it has anywhere else in Wales however you are right. The somalians can't be bothered to learn English let alone Welsh which is a much harder language to grasp.

You do realise Wales is a country & not a state, don't you?

It's now being classed as a country within a country. So basically still a principality.
