Even if they do it would be pennies.

Back the fans, worth far more in the long run

My EMail to Cardiff City:

club@cardiffcity.co.uk

Sir

I am writing in absolute disgust yet again at the behaviour of Leeds United FC and the Yorkshire Police
towards Cardiff City FC supporters. £42 for a ticket, 12.30 kick off and once more our supporters will be
subjected to borderline assault and intimidation from the stewards there and the police themselves.

I will not purchase a ticket for Leeds Away until they treat us with the same respect we showed their
supporters this season.

With this in mind, I would hope that Cardiff City return ALL the tickets Leeds send and say thanks but
no thanks - our supporters are not animals.

The Club message boards are all of the same opinion as me, as are all of my friends. Nobody will go
there.

City have a perfect opportunity to support the fans on this and say 'enough is enough'

Sending back the tickets would send the right message to all Clubs still living in the past that Cardiff City FC
will not stand idly by and watch their supporters get treated like scum.

I hope this reaches the powers that be and Leeds are told 'No Thanks'

Well if I want action then I better act! Same goes to everyone in agreement, which should be 99.9% of the people on here other than the usual attention seeking minority.

Quantity IS quality.

Fair play to you mate but you and I both know you may aswell have smashed your head against the wall for as good as that will do.

Despite all the initial unrest and maybe a few comments from well established fans things will soon simmer down.

Just like the handing in of the season tickets no more than a few maybe 50 will send Emails like that.

The supporters club will issue the following statement.

'Although we are dissapointed with the kick of change and pending restrictions and ticket prices, Cardiff City Supporters Club have a duty to lay on transport for all of its members who wish to travel'.

The Club will say something along the same lines.

There is not a cat in hells chance the club will send the tickets back, no chance at all.

I admire your stance and fair play to you for sending that e.mail and trying to get people onside, but its a waste of time.

Remember, we have tried this before.

I respect your post miller, but it's that attitude that will ensure we never achieve anything, ever! Hate to say it but an organised fanbase like at Man Utd for example would have this up for serious consideration by their club already.

There comes a time mate when you have to hold your hands up and say Cardiff Fans are what they are.

We didn't stand up to have our kit colour and badge changed, what makes you think people will stand up to what is at the moment, just a kick of change at Leeds.

Iv banged the drum plenty in the past mate, the club have never realy backed us despite what some say and always fold in the end. They will never send the tickets back and the boycott campaign will never get a large support.

Iv just learned to accept it not that I like it

It ain't just you,the Millwall,Sheff Wed and Huddersfield games have all been brought forward on the advice of WYP,the pricing of your tickets is scandalous though but that's Master Bates for you,he's been fleecing us for years the old old c**t

Re: BOYCOTT LEEDS AWAY

Thu Nov 29, 2012 7:51 pm

I suppose your right, can't fault that. What would make a difference is figure heads rolling things out such as this boycott. This is my point about Man United, they are well structured, everyone is able to have a voice and more often than not action is taken. We are too disjointed, but as you say...maybe that's just the Cardiff way.

Re: BOYCOTT LEEDS AWAY

like i said in my post ,
if the cardiff fans are seriously boycotting this game why dont we all arrange to go to a local welsh league game on this day and put our money into a local club .
This will do two things ,
1 . it will show unity from the fans that were not happy being treated like animals
2 , it will help out a local team financially instead of going into leeds pockets .

who would be willing to support this ?
