And I disagree.
CCTV has basically killed football violence. So why do you think it will become a common thing supporters attacking players if spectators are allowed on a pitch.

Should you be banned for this?
If yes, even if you run straight back to your seats?
Have we gone to far?
I rem a Cardiff fan jumping on and hugging Chopra after Chops had scored v the Jacks, he got a 5yr ban, passport taken, signing at the police station every time Wales play and every time Cardiff play for the next 5 years banned from the City Centre of Cardiff.
In the 70's/80's and 90's if fans ran on the pitch and celebrated with a player and ran back off, nothing happened, in fact the tv would go on about how great the celebrations were etc.
Sorry its a pic from Westham

Because people are stupid. There is no doubt that the instances of this happening would increase if fans were allowed onto the pitch.
I fail to see the argument for fans being allowed on the pitch. If you have one, feel free to make it.

If people are really mad/stupid or idiots they will do that any way, just look at that Leeds idiot v Sheff Wed.
