Yes. Plenty. Look it up. I believe it was a hoax to get one over on Russia and credit to them, they pulled it off because many still believe it to this day.

Why would a hundred thousand people at NASA needed to know? All it would have taken is a handful of people.

I have read a number of books and watched documentaries about the moon landings. It is a subject that fascinates me and I find the Apollo programme far more interesting than the space shuttle that followed. I have no doubt that the Americans landed on the moon 6 times. All the evidence is there and conspiracy theorists will always find something to cast doubt. There was a very interesting debate between Buzz Aldrin (2nd man on the moon) and a conspiracy theorist about the moon landings which was excellent in which every theory was destroyed by Aldrin. If I find it I will put a link on this site. Couple of interesting facts about the moon landings some of you may not be aware of.
On the Apollo 11 mission ( Armstrong/Aldrin), Aldrin maintains that they were followed part of the way by a UFO. They did not inform Nasa as they thought that the mission would be aborted. Also, If one of the astronauts was injured whilst on the Moon and could hardly walk, he would have been left to die as the other astronaut would not have been able to carry him on to the lunar module. I could go on but wont. I suggest anyone interested in the Moon landings read a book called Moonwalker. A fantastic book about Apollo 16 which answers all the questions you would want to ask an astronaut who went to the Moon, about the mission, preparation and the media circus that follows when back on Earth. I would love to meet one of the eleven men who have walked on the moon who are still alive as in the next twenty years or so they will all be dead.

yes, and if you look on the right of the page the mythbusters do an exercise with a flag simulating it as if on the moon in a vacuum. the motion of putting the flag on the moon will cause the flag to move for a while and then stop. you notice all the conspiracy theorists mention this and the video they point to shows an astronaut next to it. The flag moves because it has just been planted on the moon and will then stop moving. The only other time it moves is when the lunar module takes off from the moon. yawn yawn. moving on.

It causes ozone depletion not global warming.

Part of the USA moon mission was to shove it up the Ruskies,during the cold war.
