but out of all them people who watch wales when wales are not playing how many will go out and watch their local club or region not many
thats not really the point tho isit? i reckon wales could most prob sell out another 30 thousand seats at the millenium if we had that many when we play the likes of ireland, england or new zealand

I am not a fan of rugby at all but I am not as bitter as many of you on here about it being the national sport. Also, a quick note to all those arguing that football is the national sport do you go to international games?
Finally look at the attendances for the welsh premier league! They are below 300 in most cases and i'm pretty sure most of you wouldn't watch the City if we were in that league.

The WRU are a better organised organisation than the FAW. In P.E lessons, children are made to play more rugby, football is always overlooked and seen as a better option, I was a student at Whitchurch High School, Sam Warburton was always mentioned in lessons as someone to look up to as inspiration, yet the school also produced one of the best left sided midfielders in the Premiership at this moment in time yet he's rarely mentioned. It's an absolute joke.

They seem to claim that EVERY football player is a big headed, arrogant, diving ponse who will look for everything they can get. But that's not the case, look how welcoming most of them are for phots, autographs, some of them will even stop and have a chat.
And as for attendances, regions have failed miserably, 5000 average across Wales, nobody watches, yet 65-75,000 turn out for internationals? But the thing is not many poeple who go to the six nations or autumn internationals actually follow rugby. Most of them are just orange women in their 30's/40's showing off their flabby legs and getting pissed
