Who picked the players? Tan? I suppose the league cup final and finishing in the play offs last season was Tan aswell I take it? If we win Tuesday all will be forgotten. I notice you picked 'away' games to criticise haha. Let's just keep a calm head and worry if we drop to the gloomy depths of second place. If you went to Bristol city and forest you can see the difference to today's performance quite clearly. Losing aside, we were a lot more positive than we have been away lately

He was able to buy the best players for this division thanks to VT.

If Malky had anything about him he would have a nice little cushion by now.

Dont win on Tuesday, another inept tactical away performance by Malky, and little spending Boro and Palace could be above us.

Leaves Frei on the bench until theres little time to do anything.

And as for Cowie and Rudy, its best I say nothing.

Inept isn't a strong enough word for it, perhaps another £12 million spend in January and we can start performing better in games away from home

Annis you blow Malky off when he wins but cannot accept any critiscm towards him when we lose.

4 defeats in 7 away games. Another lead blown away from home.

Sorry, I dont agree that hes the messiah.

Very lucky in a couple of home games against Hudds, and Watford and everything isnt as rosey as you like to make out.

Malky out Redknapp in.

Worse than Jones for blaming everyone but himself.

Harsh pen but moments before Ngog had a perfectly good goal ruled out so evened it up.

He is too negative away from home. I think it was ironic that we were singing 'We're not f##king scared' .When Malky clearly is. He really doesn't like to take a gamble and really go for it.

mmm vt payed for players, malkie chose players he wanted, but surely vt doesnt do team talks or tacticts, or even pick team???? and today was improvement although we lost a draw was fair result if you dont think so well shows your bias simple as that!

 we had 3 before last ten mins or sky commentators were wrong!! after that well lost count at shots blocked saved ecte ct also bolton didnt fair better until subs so stastics can be manipulated to suit opinion!! agree we didnt shoot as much as could have but over all performance was better, no we didnt win but like said we deserved draw, and on that basis it must have been better performance or are you the only one that thinks we didnt deserve draw?

Well Pixie I'm actually with you on this one however I've decide to give it a bit more time and that will be after Charlton.

We should be picking points up on the road and we are not doing that. We lose to Charlton and we drop below the 2 point average a game. Time to look at it a bit more seriously.

Mr Mario Polo. Do you think VT should sack Malky after this defeat and get someone better in?

We controlled the first half,” said the Bluebirds boss.

“I feel hard done by because decisions change games. They got a penalty with minimal contact. People talk about diving but if the referee gives their one then he should have given us on for the foul on Hudson before.

“The referee has got to have a good look at himself as does the linesman.”

He is spot on Malcolm. No one can disagree with what he says. The referee ruined the game but we must also take some blame for not creating enough clear cut chances.

MM needs to sort this out.

I actually agree with some things Polo is trying to say.

Qpr actually run away with it for most of the season.

We had the chance to take a point or even a win today.

Here here polo here f*cking here.
1-0 up with luck again and what do we do that happens in 95% of games and stats do not lie, SIT BACK and then the same old same old follows. Like i always say we muster up 3-4 shots away from home thats it we managed 5 yesterday to there 13 but lets look for excuses to sugar coat it with the ref or something else :(

Re: Malky tactically inept

Sun Nov 04, 2012 9:42 am

Personally I would have taken Kimbo off at half time as he was not playing well.

Frei would have added more pace, he seems a very direct player and is not afraid to have a shot.

We had one shot on target in he first half and then we did not pressure them again until we were chasing the game. Gestsede is a nice guy but for me he is just to slow on and off the ball and I would liked to have seen Veliknoja on the bench.

Hindsight is a great thing I know BUT we cannot keep throwing games away and changes need to be made quicker during the game when we get pressurised like we were

Re: Malky tactically inept

Agree with 99% of what polo is saying he isn't being fickle he is saying what is true and anyone whose burying their heads in the sand saying we are top of the league is in for a shock shortly cos come end of November we wont be top, 3 more away games to come and I think as they are against lesser teams as some of you bright sparks are saying then surely we'll get 9 points right? Wrong!! No game is easy in this league it's unforgiving and if we keep sitting on 1-0 leads as we did again yesterday it will continue to cost us as once again it did yesterday, substitutions were all wrong again, rudy on I can understand as I thought helguson and mason both offered very little yesterday, then we concede so what does Malky do brings on gunnarson again I'm fine with this but takes off a winger to replace that winger with cowie who isn't a winger when we had frei and Conway on the bench, result = lack of width a player not good enough positionally in that position harder to keep possession cos of him cutting inside, why not being on frei for Kim makes no sense?? We then go 2-1 down and looking at the bench I'm wondering what he can do now and all he could was bring frei on and basically play 4-5-1 and as attacking as possible, you can blame decisions as Malky is tryin to but I disagree his substitutions were awful second half game plan was woeful as it has been away all season and it will continue, Malky is not learning like Annis says he will he is making the same mistakes and in my opinion is more stubborn than dave jones! We will soon start dropping points at home and with one of the poorest away records in the league we'll struggle for top 6, hope I'm proved wrong but I just don't see Malky changing things enough to sort this out, we be lucky to win one of the 3 remaining away games this month at that just isn't good enough
