I've never slated MM and yes it's a great home record. BUT we aren't playing well and there's no way we can continue picking up points in this manner. Now if we start playing well then brilliant, points in the bag and we can match anyone. My concern is that the bubble could burst any time soon unless we improve - stop conceding poor goals and start creating better chances.

I understand what you are saying, but how many times have you seen teams like Man U not play well and still get a result?

We will click at some stage, and in fairness there's been spells when we've played extremely well.

Lol we did luck out last night and just about beat a 9 man side and I could point out that under Jones we've been top of the league before Christmas , made it to the Playoff finals and even a FA cup final - Now I doubt you get to them by luck alone.

Looking at the bigger picture we still letting in, easy and silly goals , we lack a cutting edge up front and Malky is far too defensive minded

We was top a few times under jones also, yet nobody supported him, fans are behind MM but you know aswell as i know we will be away soon and it will entail of more dire football because of his set up and nothings changed away since xmas last season all them who go away know this (bar a few games min), lastnight we struggled vs 11men let alone 9men so thank god they had them sent off or i feared the worst. They had nine men yet we had 2more shots on target than them over the 90+mins im not sucking MM off just yet even when we scored the 2nd we sat back and nearly conceded

Annis we ain't top of the League !! Leicester are but fair play that is the luckiest win i have ever seen. We were shite and despite the possession Watford have the best chances. Whitts playing to deep again to allow Cowie to get forward. We ain't never gonna score so the ref sends a Watford player off, that does not work so he gives us a penalty, So we go for the winner but we are never gonna score, So the ref sends off another Watford Player and we still ain't gonna score. Now i am waiting for the ref to send there Goalkeeper off so we still have a chance but decides not to do it. So we cant score a second in 90 mins against 9 men, So he gives us an extra 4 minutes and bingo Aron Gunnerson bang 2-1.
Right we can relax now against 9 men surely ? but for the remainder of the 3 mins Watford pin us back with 9 fooking Men. Holly shit But then the ref blows for the final whistle. And we all applaud the Watford team who showed resilience and grit, Surely we can't play that bad against Burnley........................Can we ?

i felt like this.. i remember us going down to 9 men a few yrs ago against sheff utd when gabor and chops got sent off. dont think we touched the ball after that and did well to keep the score down to what it was.. watford were an awful team and once down to 10 and then 9 we should have created better opps, they should never have been able to create anything. our final ball was always poor and it proved with the goal that just one half tidy ball into the box was all that was needed. noone should also have made it 3!

I think it is due to the fact that we are not outclassing teams or killing teams off.

Games are at times tense and frustrating and our final ball in is very very poor which winds up the fans.
We play slow tempo passing and teams can score against us only bar Marshall brilliance have we stayed in some games.

We all said we needed to strengthen defence when the midfielders were flooding in.
We're all waiting for Etien and kimbo to have a chance
Yet we persue this industrial brand of football.

Fans may think that We shouldnt be scraping games. We've given up our colour, had our badge bumf#cked, spent millions with more debt- so we have earned the right to be at the top playing good football.
Malky graft is good , but we as fans have given up much and have earned finesse - that is why all this is bittersweet and divides us.

People aint going anymore, thousands of them who have only been partially replaced by new (debatably less passionate) fans who pick and choose games or dont turn out in the rain etc.
Atmosphere in CCS has been argued about for seasons now.
A good sing and chant would while away many a shite game of the past!

He deserves our support but that was DREADFUL. Even when they went down to 9 men, they still had chances of scoring. We were minutes away from being embarrassed. That wasn't a promotion winning performance, that's for sure.

In Malky we trust though and all that.

Whilst we're 2nd then nobody should really be moaning. Yes we were poor last night, individuals were just not "on it" but the table says we got 3 points and at thihs stage that's all that matters.

The other positive is that we do have options. Kimbo and Velikonja are still available and I thought Velikonja looked a handful when he came on at Bristol. The key is to stay up there until January and then see what MM can do in the market.

All credit we showed fighting sprit but the cracks are beginning to appear and we will see how good we really are in the next 6 games. With the injuries ,our team is beginning to resemble the one that finished last season . I would like to think we have fresh legs to add to our first 11 but the likes of Kimbo and Etien have barely kicked a ball in this league.
Yes we are top and I would of bitten any bodies hand off to be in this position at the beginning of the season but let's don't fool ourselves the real work starts now.

It amazes me, 4 out of the 6 home games we have played well and looked really good. Away from is a slight concern, we are still 2nd though so MM must be doing something right?

Its embarrassing to be a city fan sometimes as if we dont win every game 7-0 we are shit apparently!

Some of you think the other teams in this division are useless, they deserve more respect than that!

The attitude that somehow its our divine right to win every game is amazing !!

Perhaps its my age and CC experience that I consider 20K on a back to back weekday game and a 2-1 victory a bloody good result.

The points gap between the top and bottom is 18 point after 12 games, compare that to the premier where its 19 points after 8 - This is a more equal league, look at last season where we barely won a game in the second half of the season and still made the playoffs.

Malky is a fantastic manager, his enthusiasm on the pitch and his response to the fans is incredible and i hope he stays with cardiff for years

I appreciate that people are getting a bit sick of the 4-5-1 (me included) but as stated earlier 6 home wins on the trot and second in the league is quality.

And if we remember mike bassett england manager.. they slated his 4-4-2 and look what happened there.

Last night was really frustrating Annis as Watford came with a plan to contain and hit us on the break and it very nearly worked for them. The thing is when you get frustrating games like last night you get the feeling we played badly, and that's not the case. Throughout the 90 minutes we stayed calm and tried to play controlled football and as usual with MM teams we played until the last minute and won.

Both Wolves and Blackpool came to CCS for a game of football and both were brushed aside with ease, in other games like Leeds and Huddersfield we have been faced like Watford with opposition who first anf foremost wanted to contain. But thanks to the mentality of MM we have won all the games.

This season more clubs will come to contain than take us on in an open game and we as fans need to be patient and don't let opposition plans to frustrate the team distract us from 100% supporting the team.

Saturday will be interesting as Burnley have the best ranked attack and the 2nd worst defence so absolutely anything could happen. Whatever we need to be 100% with both MM and the players.

I don't expect us to win all our home games.however I do expect to win against 9 men and we did just. But I don't expect us to then get pinned back by 9 men.
My main worry is we have an outstanding talent in Whitts and to play him so deep is Fooking criminal.

Gary, the sign of a good side in my opinion is when u grind out results like the Watford game, when your not playing well, joint top of the league, what more could you ask for by Malky.

At home we have been excellent and yes we have also been poor, but our win record is 100% Yes a lot of luck has come into it but you do need Luck. I agree wait until after Crimbo before we can really judge if we will be contenders or not. I remember when Dave Jones was in charge up to Christmas we had played the best football i have ever seen us play but after Crimbo we crashed harder than Ronaldo driving through a tunnel.
