Just seen your answer about Hollins and I believe you are wrong. Hollins claim was thrown out because of a technicality and he ended up with nothing. Infact if it was not for that technicality Hollins would have stop the CVA and Swansea City football club would have been history.

Changing shirt colour is not selling our soul. An identity change yes but not our soul. We are still the same football club that is the only Welsh team to have won a major competition, the only Welsh team to have got to all major domestic finals, the Welsh team that has got further in any major competition than any other Welsh team, the Welsh team that has spent more time than any other Welsh team in the top division and come this time next year will be the only Welsh team there.

No, Hollins ended up with the same deal as everyone else. If he had bothered to give his rep at the meeting a legal proxy with which to vote, the CVA would have been turned down and club would have folded. Which would have left him with nothing. Therefore, he did better out of the CVA than if the club had gone under.

Well as far as selling your soul goes, many here seem to disagree with you viewtopic.php?f=2&t=94481

As for the rest of that post, all true of course apart from the last bit which is of course supposition and blind faith on your part. I'm currently enjoying watching my team play in the top division for the 4th season in my long time supporting the club. You?

You enjoying watching your team win 2 points from the last 12 against mediocre teams, Everton excluded, with so called star players. This is going to be difficult for someone like yourself to believe but you have been conned.

I'm enjoying watching my team pit themselves against the best this country has to offer, again. I'm enjoying being 11th in the Premier League. I'm enjoying having watching the most talented squad ever assembled at the club. I'm enjoying us being managed by a football legend. And I'm enjoying the daily worldwide media spotlight being on my club after years of watching lower league dross.

Meanwhile, you now play in red as you got yourselves in such mire that you had no choice but to bend over and do what your Malaysian masters insisted.

Thats it you have not played the best yet. Come back in a few weeks and lets see where you are.

I'll give you some credit, you type pretty well for someone who is grasping at straws at the same time.

We know we're not going to pick up many points against the top teams, that's why they are the top teams. What matters is where we are at the end of the season and I'm very confident that we are good enough to still be in this league next season.

Grasping at straws.

Your not exactly picking up points against the lesser team either are you? Most Jacks I know believe you are in for a hard slog. All say that Laudrup is not up to it and he has assembled a team of prima donnas. There is no team spirit and the only hope is for the weaker teams to not perform. That is what I am hearing and I believe they are not far off the spot there.

Just as Carl suggested days before the season started. As usual you can rely on Carl to keep us informed on the latest gossip even from the inbreds. ;)

So Carl when do you expect Huw The Spew to pay the rent. :o
