Give him to the end of the season to judge him. Last season he was in a new league new country this season hes been injured now hes back i feel we should give him a chance and see if he improves as his fitness gets better.
If he gets injured again loan him to newport county

Quite right - he is a young player in a foreign country who must be so disappointed with his injury problems. Thankfully, the staff at the club will look after him to give him the best chance to get fit, stay fit, and prove himself on the pitch. Some fans will see this and support him and encourage him - others will use him as a scapegoat when it suits them. I'm in the former camp.

im sorry, but hes not good enough for this level...

french lower leagues and thats it... if he had potential after 5 yrs with metz someone in the french top tier would have snapped him up.

13 goals in 6 years of football is not great. his composure infront of goal is shocking. hes lazy and cant dribble with the ball.

hes ok in the air, but at 6ft 4 he should be. he has the potential but hes 24 on wednesday and really should be hitting his best level now..

i personally think he should be loaned out to a league 1 side, see how he does at that level and then make a decision on his future.

I like Rudy, but far too inconsistent.

Hope he proves everyone wrong........for me the best game he had for us was at Forest away last season, chased everything down and won everything. But injuries have not helped his case.

Cant see him starting, but good squad player to have around for the last 10-15 mins.

Lazy statement.

It's true though. Everyone's going on about how he's going to improve but he won't, he's a lazy player and he can't keep up with the pace of this league. I like Rudy but as a football player I really don't know what Malky sees in him.

Shocking with the ball at his feet.

Doesn't work hard without the ball.

Should be a pilot then

Possibly the greatest post on here. Brightened up my morning anyway.

Yes he is. He once feigned injury against West Ham because he was having a crap game and didnt fancy it. The crowd got on his back cos he wasnt hunting the ball down and off he went. Very lazy. Very crap.

I cant seem him cutting it at this level. Lacks pace, good in the air however, but movement and general ability with the ball I dont think he is up to standard. He reminds me of Leo fortune although not as good. But in his build he resembles Leo.

DO THE LEO EVERYONE DO THE LEO EVERYONE :ayatollah:

Leo was a means to an end in Division 3 at the time but in no way a championship player.

Eddie Johnson was / is better than Rudy.

Ironically like Leo, Eddie became another cult hero player USA USA USA, priceless. However.......It must be said what a lot of fans are overlooking here is that we have a Slovenia international striker Etien Velikonja sitting on the bench who has a great strike record and yet is not getting a look in. Surely we need to be getting him on the pitch unless Malky wanted a targetman against Ipswich to try and win some flick on's etc.

Everything is going well at the minute so unfair of us to question Malkys judgements but it is a little strange both Kim and Veronica are not getting a look in, having splashed 3.5m on them, and both internationals.
