Anyway hes starting to get back into form and playing well for Arsenal more than Williams is for Swansea. Of course it is. A captain is pretty much the on field manager in terms of conveying his managers wishes to the players and being a leader.

It isn't school in which the captain is the best player. A centre back is always a good choice for captain as they are vocal by nature and are in constant contact with the midfielders with a great view as all the play is in front of him. A very high percentage of captains are centre backs.

In that case. Williams is the best choice.
