Say what you like about Daya, he gave the earliest warning of what was to come from Tan ( i exclude TG because I believe that he's a man of integrity). I believe Daya is right on this one too, there will be further unpalatable changes to come

The man who phoned up TLG's boss to get him sacked for using the internet in work, the man who came on here giving it the big one about donating a thousand pound to the Mikey Dye fund and renaged, the one who threatened Gethin Jenkins and got banned for his trouble, that one with integrity.

If you are just in it for a quick sniff of premiership football, keep trusting in Chairman Tan.If,however, you have no desire to see more vandalism at CCFC then keep an open mind and don't get swept along 'because the football's good.' Some things are more important than success at any cost...

To be fair to him gwyn, after polishing off a couple of bottles of rioja he probably wasn't quite with it, so to speak

Better to fully commit one way or the other in my opinion. Whilst our club sits on the fence we just look a bit, well, daft.

Not here to act as a character witness for Daya :D personally, I have always got on well with Steve, although at times doing business with him nearly drove me nuts :o But you can't argue that he was ahead of the game as regards Vincent Tan. Fair enough Gwyn, you don't have an issue with what Tan has done to the club.Lots of us though, think that he has been the most divisive figure in CCFC's history.

No renegade whatsoever although you don't like the fact you don't have any information whatsoever as its not your business.

A very bitter jealous man you are Gwyn Davies.

It isn't that surprising, is it? These people have lied to us before and they don't give a flying f**k about the soul and history of the club. So would you really expect these twats to care about the opinion of the supporters?

He wants the club to be Red and have the crest of a dragon. It's not that he "hates" bluebirds - just wants something different.

The bluebird will be gone next season - mark my words. Why else would Ali be told to not use the word when he is present?

Remember, the original crest design didnt have the bluebird on at all.

Would it matter if no one turned up for games ,as long as a Malaysian side is in the prem.

As long as the badge main feature is the Dragon (said nothing about including other stuff, daffodil or bluebird ect)

As long as the Kits main colour is red (no mention of including black, blue, yellow ect on the kit)

So if he refuses then he would have lied to us. Lets see what happens first, im confident we will have a bluebird on the badge come next season.

hmmm - sounds like an opportunity to sell a new shirt with new badge next season ! (Under the guise of being a 'fans choice' change).

Thanks to Alan Whitley we managed to keep it for this season and TG was all for it, but VT against it.

For some fans the removing of the bluebird would be the final straw. I am convinced that the rebranding issue has certainly had an effect on our crowd this year considering that we should be attracting considerably more given the teams potential this year.
From a personal point of view, I am enjoying the brand of football we are playing this year but sometimes it feels if I am watching someone else's team. The removal of the bluebird would tip many fans over the edge including myself and I hope we can retain it. If it is Tans intention to do away with the bluebird then I would hope that he would be upfront with us for a change rather than sneakily removing it at the end of the season. It would also be good if he could also announce his intentions prior to the fans renewing their season tickets in order that they can be given the option of whether to renew or not. :ayatollah:

I agree, lets hope he is upfront regarding this, before season tickets are put on sale, rem our club new last April about the rebranding but kept us in the dark while 18,000 fans bought season tickets, lets hope we are told this time.

If Tan delivers promotion that will be the green light for him to do "whatever he pleases" with our club, as he will believe he will be un-apposed and unfortunatly judging by the lack of fight over the re brand, he will probably be right :ayatollah: :old: :ayatollah:

Got to be up front I totally agree. The badge the kit and the nickname.

Being cynical. He will have bean counters who will have worked out the effect of the changes
on Season Ticket sales. Being Ultra-cynical... those bean counters will have probably told him
NOT to announce the changes until AFTER they'd got enough revenue in, because the amount
who will then cancel will be minimal.

This is what the Trust was formed for.... on it like a car bonnet!!! Or whats the point of the Trust?
