A bit harsh, the man has a personal problem. Its not something he desires, he is in a dark place Id imagine. I would have thought we've all been there at some point in our lives, if not then you've lived a wonderful as yet. Give the man a break, its nothing to do with football. Its not a matter of protecting Bellamy, its more of a matter of showing him a bit of compassion, privacy & respect. He is vulnerably right now and would be a liability on field and if selected to play he is no use to any of us, just respect the fact the man needs space.

Nothing much to say really, Doh
Love Cardiff City
Love Craig Bellamy
Listen it must take a lot to drop down in league, in wages.

I for one wish him well if he's suffering.
Thinking of Gary Speed :(
Take all the time you want Bellers :ayatollah:

Personal is just that let's all leave Bellamy in peace and give him time to sort out whatever problems he is experiencing anyone never mind what their status us in life can suffer depression. Not many of us know what the problem is but let's all wish Craig all the best and hope he can sort everything out.

I still think he could still turn out to be one of our best signings ever but only if he get's all his off field issues settled and his family life is happy so good luck Craig and please come back firing ASAP :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Re: MAJOR SHOCK ABOUT BELLAMY

gwyn i have to agree with you on this, personal matters at home and family could mean a number of things, craig needs time to put his family first and the last thing on his mind is football. for the benefit of craig and the club time to himself and his family is best for everyone involved.

we do not know the personal reasons and we shouldnt need to know whether it be family illness, or any other probs its not our business..

all we can do is offer the club our continued support and be there for bellamy also!

if any of us had similar issues im sure we would want some time off !

I dunno guys

It seems he knows he wont lose his place in the team, he hasnt seemed bothered since he been back, He was motivated for the olympics

hes been out drinking acting as per normal enjoying himself here in cardiff, yet he cant play football, cant seem to make his mind up if its an injury or personal problems,

only thing he has got going for him in this aruguement is he didnt rteally get a pre season cos he was platying constantly

Yeah must be really rough on the fella only earning 35k a week. Truly awful.

Sorry Gwyn cannot share your sympathy. Multi millionaire fucks around behind his wife and families back, gets caught, feels soery for himself. In the meanwhile stinging us for a 3.5m contract over 2 years knowing his hearts not in it.

People went beserk when Koumas pulled this stroke under DJ. Didnt see much sympathy then.

Sorry not having it.

mate, I honestly know nowt about CB's 'problems'.

I know....

1. My best mate lost his 18 year old, beautiful daughter to menigitis recently.
2. Two other mates have lost their children.
3. Gwyn has had the uncomprehensible loss of his daughter to get over as well....God bless you, big man.

If CB's 'problems' are in that league, then i apologise and absolutely sympathyse. Massively.

But if it's just life's problem. Get fecking with it.

The man is very fortunate. I know a large number of people who genuinely have to chose where to spend the £3 they have for that day. That's a problem.

Can't fecking buy in to millionnaire's with usual day to day issues. Get over it.

Since I am not in the know, if Cb has 'more worthy' problems, I apologise.

But that does not include losing your missus...............we all done that!!!!

I agree with some points but i also remember not too long ago a certain Mr Speed may have suffered some problems NONE OF US KNOW ABOUT !!!!! What ever the problem is hope it can be resolved ;)

I find it hard to believe, that someone with all that wealth and talent may have issues and problems away from work that are troubling him and that his head is in the shed as we say. How dare he! ;)

On a serious note, like everyone else I have heard all sorts of rumours and that's all they are, however it does look like all is not right and that Craig isn't firing on all cylinders, and in all fairness who among us have gone through life totally without having some troubled times or personal issues.

I am sure Malky and everyone at the club are doing all they can to help, and I would appeal to fans to support this and play our part by doing anything we can to help, even if only by putting positive messages out there and putting an arm around him so to speak, he is a local lad, he is one of us, so let's not muddy the waters and play our part.

I just hope Craig can sort it all out,, firstly for his own health and family, and secondly for us and football, because on his day he is one of the best and there is plenty of top class football left in him yet.

As a fan, being selfish I hope he comes back and does the business, but as a fellow human being I hope he makes the right decisions and get's everything back on track for him and his family's sake. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

What'''''' I actually agree with You!!! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I wonder how Robin Friday would have coped in the age of the internet messageboard?
We used to hear the odd rumour but that was it and all we used to do was watch the football and support the team in the way things were done then.
Some people were obviously ITK but nothing was ever really said. When he was on the pitch(!) he generally did his stuff.
I think the old way is probably better.

Great start, very helpful and compassionate of you Mart, let's hope you never need some support hey. :x

Get off the high horse it's a fair point.

Personal issues, fair enough. But if they're that big a deal they stop him playing for us then they surely stop him playing in the olympics a few weeks ago?

Or do the personal issues discriminate against league games?

Everyone wants the lad to get his head right for his own sake, but fair's fair.

Hi boss any chance of three-four weeks off work, what it is.... ................

I dont feel sorry for him one bit you could see he was depressed or something was not rite in his very first interview after he signed. I even put a thread up saying somethings not rite his body language wasnt in it and now we all know why he come back home so if im supposed to get the tissues out for my tears and heartbreak because a mans life is not going rite on 35k per week then please forgive me chaps but i can not feel it like a dear deidre letter with some corny music going off in the background. As the saying goes you got in the shit you get out of it weather your a footballer, painter, factory worker. Only you can change things.

On another point i can see gwyns wrote that from the heart what i will say is this i think alot of what hes put down comes from a personal level as we all know the shit gwyns had to deal with over the last few years even worse of late. Now this is SHOCK in my eyes of the highest level compared to what bellers has got to deal with and thats why i feel no pain for bellers at all because theres 10000 times worse out there like what ive mentioned above. :ayatollah:

;) I understand what you are saying and we know us "ordinary blokes" are well off compared to lot's of other people all over the world not just in Cardiff, but as i said earlier, if Gary Speed had maybe similar problem's (again none us us know) and had spoken to someone/had time out to try and sort them out maybe he would be still here with us ?. I am not trying to over dramatise this, just saying maybe.....Let us hope he can sort out what ever he need's to.
