You dont get football do you?

1) If a player wants to go he will go. If Liverpool or City come calling then guess what happens?
2) When players go the secret is to get top price.
3) The next trick is to get better players in for less money

We have done all 3.
And if you think sinclair is one of our best players then you have no idea. I would rather lose him than, Dyer, Vorm, Leon, Williams, Taylor, Rangel no problem.
When you think we got Michu, JDG, Chicco, Ki and maybe Hernandez for the price of Joe Allen then its a no brainer. It has also enabled us to build training facilities and stadium expansion without eating into the player budget.

Stadium expansion

Care to explain what was sooo funny?

What are you planning on increasing the capacity to? When are you expanding if you are? It's the first time I've heard it although I never really hear about anything Swans related unless it's on this messageboard. It's funny because before you got promoted you barely got 15,000 for most of your home games but now suddenly all the plastics are turning up now that you're in the Prem. How are you sure that the plastics are going to stay if say you get relegated in the next 3 years? It would look ridiculous having a half empty stadium.

I take it you didnt watch the redturds before the FA cup final defeat? Love the way we have plastics you have die hards. Have a look at your first 3 years in the championship and our 3 years. Plans gone in and been improved. Not sure whats so funny. Difference is we report our attendances whilst you lot seem to pick numbers from thin air. But to be honest do you think Man City when winning the PL and signing Nasiri are worried that Arsenals gates are bigger?

Of course I did. Thank you for agreeing with me. That doesn't make a difference, your attendances wouldn't get any higher if you stayed in the Championship for as long as us, my point is that you got 15,000 for your promotion, we were getting those attendances when we were just below mid-table. It's funny because your stadium will be filled with 15,000 plastics and they'll all leave when you get relegated. Why would Man City worry about Arsenal? They're not obsesssed with Arsenal. Swansea on the other hand think about their massive neighbours Cardiff more than about themselves. :D

You are gloating because your best players and Managers try to leave at the earliest opportunity ???

You are being used as a stepping stone, if Laudrup can keep it up he will be off by the end of the year also.

It is very early days to be gloating, this type of comments have a habit of biting you on the arse.

A good start but lets see what happens from here.

It's not a mare when I'm telling the truth.
So when you expand to 30,000 and if/when you get relegated, you'll have a half empty council stadium and none of your plastics will turn up, fact.
Our dreams of expansion? We get higher attendances than you, when we get promoted and stay there we're 100% upgrading to 35,000. :D
I see you've picked up on a few idiotic Cardiff fans wanting Malky out and there's only a handful of them, the reason that's a big topic at the moment is because everyone's having a go at the tools who want him out.
MARE. :D :ayatollah

Oh alright then, I'll bite. BUT IT'S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD 8-)

"If/when you get relegated, you'll have a half empty council stadium and none of your plastics will turn up, fact"
Well, you'd know all about 'plastics' not turning up wouldn't you. Despite what your OFFICIAL attendance figures are, anyone with a TV set can see Legoland is never nearly as full as you boys like to make out. And without a good cup run, and i expect you to go out of the FA cup nice and early this season, you won't be able to either tie in tickets to Wembley appearances or have a Chairman scam brain dead Cardiff fans in taking up some kind of early bird offer. Remember that pearler, even made it to Court

Attendance figures matter so much to Cardiff fans. Poor dabs, it's about all they have left to cling to :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
You'd think with the dire football being served up by Malky, crowd in fighting, the loss of your clubs history/identity and soul, attendance figures wouldn't matter so much but there you are, not the brightest sparks. And they really are nothing to be proud of. Awful support. Couldn't' sell your Carling cup tickets not a semi final play off leg at home. 35,000 MY ARSE

Re: Sinclair to Citeh for £6.2 million

Mon Aug 27, 2012 3:48 pm

Nevermind not selling out to a carling cup semi, they couldn't sell out for a play off semi

If we went down after an expansion, it's obvious that not everybody who's started watching us when we got promoted will f**k isn't it. Plenty of people will support us for a life time, it's just that they wouldn't have been brought to watch the Swans for the first time had we not gone up to the big time.

We have about 5,000 empty seats every game (unless it's a big game), either way we still get over 21,000 consistently and you're forgetting that we're in the Championship, imagine if we were in the Premier League? I hope we go out of the FA Cup early, Wembley's getting a bit boring. Fans of every club are interested in attendance figures, it shows who's got bigger fan-bases, it's a factor to why some clubs are bigger than others. Your fans are obsessed with us because you wish you were the biggest club in Wales. :D We actually did sell all of our Carling Cup semi-final tickets, you're forgetting the fact that they put more tickets on sale once we sold out (not including Premier seating) on the day of the game by getting rid of the segregation between our fans and the away end, try again. Whether you say "35,000 my arse" or not, we're upgrading to that capacity if we go up and stay in the Premier League whether you like it or not, and our fans will turn up. We have HUGE potential and everyone knows it. :ayatollah:

I think that's very good business for your club.

Do you think you'll sustain the current form? For me Laudrup is likely to be a very good Manager and for your season to be succesful, all he needs to do is avoid relegation, but I think you'll do a lot better than that.

How high do you think you can make this season?

Absolutley, don't think Allen is a £15 million player, Sinclair about right IMO due to his contract. If you believe the papers he was by far our best player last year Sinclair this and Sinclair that, in reality while still performing well he was no where near making the biggest impact. Dyer who I cannot believe has not been at the fore front of some real transfer talk (thank God though) was far superior, as was Allen, Williams, Caulker, Siggy, Vorm. Totally different positions and not all strictly our players, I know, but he wasn't our superstar by far.
