A good championship defender but PL? Im not so sure. Not unless QPR like the ball pumped from back to front as quick as possible. Not great with the ball at his feet.

Anybody who thinks Turner is slow, wasn't at Brighton on Tuesday night, when He was immense!

He outpaced Mackaill-Smith a couple of times and one of their wingers on another occasion in the second half!

Stan i like you and i will give you an honest assessment of Turner.......... too slow and cumbersome, can't pass, doesn't read situations, misses headers, easily knocked off the ball and would be useless in the Premiership now if you can just get the information passed into Mark Hughes so that he can move on to other targets ;) :D

Haha that tickled me. I like it.

Cheers for all comments, made a good read. He sounds a decent player.

As I said maybe nothing in it apart from a sloppy rumour but been mentioned few times last night & seen some agent type mention it on twitter today.

As for Dawson & Carvalho, Dawson couldn't agree personal terms by all accounts & favours a move to Sunderland & Carvalho is waiting to happen apparently.

On the way to Norwich so apologies if I delay getting back to you.

Good luck today at the wurzels.

Heidur 1-0 :D

Stan

Bill Shankly would have said something like this

"Ben Turner wasn't born. He was quarried". He's one of Malkys best captures and has the potential to go all the way. I just hope it's with us!!

People are a little obsessed with the pace of CB's IMO.  How many defenders are excellent defenders with pace? Not many even at the top end of the prem.

I don't think Turner is ready for the prem yet but an excellent cb.  Reads the game pretty well, loses next to nothing in the air and strong on the ground (if not a little erratic). Mind I wouldn't swap him for Anton Ferdinand :D

I don't think we will sell him because it would give u no financial benefit (money going to ray Ranson)

A little worrying that Turner is not in the squad today.....hope it's just a knock and Stan's info is unfounded.

Great prediction, Stan :ayatollah: :D :ayatollah:

Just find it odd that a fella who spends most waking days on here brown nosing Cardiff fans pleads ignorance when it comes to one of their best players... Never heard of him. Ah right... Billy Bulls*itter.

Firstly any truth in this?

Secondly is he any good? Excuse me for my ignorance but I've never really heard of him, is he a centre back?

The rumour I heard was he was at QPR today but only a wild rumour

undoubtedly, however if he is serious about his football then he would be better off waiting for someone like newcastle to come in for him.

Yea I just googled him & now recognise who he is now, I actually thought he was someone else when I saw his picture.

Maybe QPR fixing you up with 3 players will come at a price?

It may all be bollocks but few different people have mentioned it tonight so thought their might be something in it.

As mentioned on here though if he's that good & you're looking to go up you won't sell. Hopefully someone itk can shed some light on the situation.

Yes - it is all bollocks - go and sign some inelligible player!
