Oh dear, here we have a prime example of someone who can't accept that the majority of fans want to support the owners, club and team. What a pathetic response. I will be there tomorrow and will wear my brand new Red home shirt with pride!

This is what i don't get right, and I know it's not gonna be popular but here goes...
I can understand fans accepting the change to red because they think its for the good of the club.
I can understand fans wanting to go to the game and support the boys as usual.
But what i just can't understand is why so many of our fans have bought the red shirt, not just accepting the change but embracing it as if they would have preferred to be red and have our badge changed.
Surely, given the choice if investment wasnt an issue, we'd all prefer to be blue then red, right?
Like i say, i can understand people accepting it, but why oh why is everyone buying the shirts so proudly and not just begrudgingly getting on with it?
It just doesn't make sense to me! Anyone got any thoughts?

I know, it beggars belief. I can't understand it either. Okay, sure, accept the changes begrudgingly [like we all have to], but buying red merchandise?! By doing that, aren't you saying to the Malaysians, "I accept your changes without protest", "Yes, take the piss out of us".
I, perhaps naively, imagined a stadium full of blue shirts this season. A silent protest, by a united support, letting the Malaysians know that we will not accept their riding roughshod over our club, and we are not going to line their pockets, buying merchandise that is is about as far removed from our identity as they dare take it. The paying support is not that fickle.
Boy, was I wrong.

Yes you were wrong, buying the shirt as far as I'm concerned is also about helping to keeping the club out of debt. It's about time people started to realise football is now a multi pound business. I will do my bit and continue to buy merchandise from the club and in that regards I will also buy the blue top when it comes out. Red top for home matches, blue for the away.

It has a cardiff city on it.
We are cardiff FANS!! So how can fans not want to wear our clubs colours. And red is the club colours now!!
If you want us to play in blue buy the club. You don't tell your bank how to sort out mortgages or loans. You don't tell your mates what colour to paint there house, so why are you telling tan what colour he should let us play in! You're just a fan, and a fan has no finiacial say whatsoever in anything to do with the clubs at this level.

Buying the red merchandise is basically saying to Mr Tan that he can do whatever the hell he pleases with our football club and believe me he will...
Even if a stadium full of blue shirts was the sum of the protest that we could muster it would still have sent a strong message to Tan that blue was important to us.
As it is a large number of our fans did the very opposite. You couldn't make it up.
