She's a control freak obsessed with dictating every aspect of the EU, whilst simultaneously being scarily similar to Thatcher.

by that logic, are you also saying Mrs Thatcher wasn't a democrat as well?

I absolutely loved the olympics as always but no it did not make me proud to be British. I just don't really feel affinity to Britain. I supported Team GB because that's who we (Wales) compete for but I just kept thinking, imagine if those gold medals we won were for Wales, and we got to step up on to the podium with our flag flying high and our anthem being broadcast to the world. I would be so unbelieveably proud to see that. I think when we do eventually get to that point, I'll be in a pub somewhere going absoultely crazy in support for whoever's going for gold for us and will most likely scream the anthem when we win. While I'm happy when we win a gold for GB, it's nowhere near how I would feel if it was for Wales.

There's a lot of politics behind the Olympics that I don't like, but as far as the success of the games is concerned, I thought it was brilliant. Great effort by the BBC and I am really looking forward to Rio. Just wish we could go as Wales instead of Britain.
