Yeah we need a couple of defenders to cover injuries but can't see why we need any further Midfielders for the life of me .

What about Craig Dawson from WBA? He played for team GB and looks very good he is a young talented defender in the PL

So are the 3 players a loan def, smith and maynard or the loan defender and 2 different players seeing as we have to wait for smith and maynard whereas you say we could have 3 next week? Can someone clear this up?

Is it only me who thinks we don't need Maynard? We have Mason, Earnie, Gestede, Velikonja and Helguson, all capable of producing at this level and Maynard would probably want high wages.
I'm not too fussed on Tommy Smith either. As wide players we have Bellamy, Kim, Conway, Cowie, Whittingham. Ralls and Mason can also play wide midfield so once again I don't think we really need him.
Cover in defence is necessary though as we only have Darcy and Keinan capable at this level

Earnie and Rudy definitely not good enough at the top level of the championship! We need a proven goalscorer up front!

helgason wont play more than 28 games , earnie not good enough, gestede poor, velikonja we cant expect too much off him it's not fair (thats not to say he wont come in and score 20)

We need someone in or close to their prime who can be regarded ''the man''

Regarding Keinan & Taiwo, why cant a settlement on their contracts be made [like Parkin]? I notice Keinan has a squad No 28 this coming season, while Taiwo hasn't even got a number!

Parkin was on bigger wages I suppose so the club were eager to offload even whilst taking a hit with a settlement on his contract, Taiwo his wages won't be that much around £3,000 so maybe the club are waiting for a lower team to make an approach for him at a decent wage offer so they don't half to offer him as much compensation to terminate the contract (shouldn't be much anyway).
