I don't know any real fan who wanted to change colours or is happy to change colours, but I do know thousands of fans who will reluctantly do it for the chance of finally getting the investment and backing that all clubs need to get to the top, and us Cardiff fans deserve to be at the top coz we haven't had much to celebrate and we have a lot of crap to put up with on and off the pitch over the last few decades. We have earned that right to say, we have served our time, and now is our time.
We no longer want to be known as the big club, with a huge fans base, that are well known for nothing other than having the maddest and some times most frightening fans in the country, sometimes mistakenly because we haven't been treated well, but also if we are honest because we had nothing going for us on the pitch, so fighting and causing chaos became the attraction for many rather than the football, which is now the case.
We have moved on and many of the culprits have grown up and moved with the times to what some people call modern football, do they love the club less than they did, No, I don't think so, if anything they love the club more, BP (I am totally opposed to the re brand in any shape or form, so please dont belittle me and say that any fan who accepts the re brand loves the club more than me. I watch every game and have been there through thick and thin since my first game in December 1964!) because we now more than ever feel part of the club BP (I feel less part of the club than ever before. I went through 12 months on strike in 1984-85 fighting a dictator, and I feel I am now doing the same) and we feel responsible and want the club to succeed.
Some still miss being a fence thickness away from intimidating away fans and making sure they are so scared they never come to our stadium again, others realise those days are gone.
To me the colour shirt was our flag to rally behind, but we simply have a new colour flag, we are the same fans, the same club, we haven't lost our history, BP ( I feel we have lost sight of our history. The history to me is the "bluebirds" that has been taken away) how can we lose our history as long as we stay in business unlike rangers who's history is now put in a box and shelved away. They have to start again from zero, is that what we want over the sake of a colour. BP (who knows Gwyn, we might have had another buyer, it's all hypothetical to say we would have gone the same way as Rangers)The Malaysian's didn't come into rescue us, they didn't come in because they were charitable, they came in because they could see the potential and they had the clout to fulfill that potential with a view to making a big profit, anything wrong with that, not in my eyes, just sadness that no Welsh or even British business or investor could have seen it for themselves. BP (as per the hypothetical view above, who knows!)When they first came in I was glad of their investment because we were in a real mess, part of me was concerned thinking why have they come here, are they out to screw us over in some way.
But I have bought into them because they have earned that trust, BP( I dont share your views on this one Gwyn, I think they have steam rollered straight over us with no consultation with the fans, I know for a fact they wish they had done it differently non hindsight, but they have lied on their long term views, just wish they would have been honest) they saved us and they have long term plans, the academy, the training ground, the increase to stadium capacity, the team investment, does this look like people out to asset strip us , or make us successful with a view to making a profit from us, and good luck to them if they do.
Could they f**k us, course they could, but would be any worse off than we were when they cam in, I very much doubt it,![]()

Doubt is something we are only too familiar with. We been lied to so many
times before
It wouldnt be natural for us fans not to have some doubt over an owner would it dave

Common sense should prevail.
The only 'assets' Tan could strip are the ones he's put in place.
He KNOWS full well that if he walks away he will NEVER get his 90mil back.
Who's going to give it to him? HMRC? No chance. Borley? Guy?... if he walks
he loses close to 100mil
By swopping the debt to equity, he will own the f*cking lot. He could make his
plans to leave and slowly but surely replace every single asset with a cheap as
chips alternative. Sell Whittingham - buy Gavin Rae back. Sell Bellamy, give Leo
the lampost another chance. This is the harsh reality. He'd still lose a lot of money,
but far less than if we went into Admin.
However. Before everyone starts chucking themselves off cliffs.....
Why would he do it? He would gain nothing and lose a lot.
Yet STILL he pumps money in.
He has a LONG TERM plan.
the only downside to that (and its a big one) is the colour red and the shite badge...
Well who knows, promotion to the Premiership? He may relent, he may soften his
view. We may get the Bluebird back as the major part of the Badge. We may see
more Blue appearing on the shirt?
We may not![]()

But the options are pretty much Zero.
Absolutely spot on, this post alone should be made a permanent sticky.

Oh Gwyn please come off it for goodness sake, you and the rest of the Wu Tang Clan f*cking love being red. You are wearing red at every f*cking opportunity, so don't spout such bullshit (actually, that's asking far too much from you). If you were reluctantly red, you wouldn't be f*cking buying red and wearing red.
Liar.

BP (finally, I cannot and will not give them a chance, I am not prepared to sit back and let them get away with what they have done. I have supported this club all my life, and will continue to do so until the last breath is sucked out of me, but I want my history back, the "bluebirds" are sacrisanct to me, I am not interested in the dragon, I am not interested in Wales, I am not interested in China and Malaysia, I am interested and besotted with cardiff City football club - the Bluebirds)

I would imagine it's allowed as Annis and Sugarman are always at each others throats or were last season anyway.

Thats not the point im trying to make weather they are at eachothers throats or bum bandits , my point is why are accounts allowed access to the forum if there the same name as somebody who is already on here but only the troll has the diffrent account which looks the same but with a dot or a underscore, when clearly that person is making the real person look bad.

The makeover on the front of the stadium really makes it feel like a football stadium.
We can argue all night about the red & blue and the badge, but in my opinion CCS looks great if only because those f**king egg chasers have gone.

Whatever Gwyn. You continue to believe in what you wish to believe instead of facing reality. It doesn't make the slightest dot of difference to me. Makes you just look even further quite foolish especially to the writers of the posts who must be in urine relief heavily. Why not ring " Daya " and see where he is right now, you would soon understand that he can't possibly be posting. That would ruin your accusations and what you wish people to believe in a vein attempt to think you know
