Having read your views on this in another thread I agree with you totally, when you see things like this people always bring it up to argue about though.

Thanks, people always call for things like this in such circumstances but the wider consequences are far worse.

Would you be so understanding towards letting the scum responsible livie a life of Riley in prison? Probably reliving what he done and getting off on it everyday! Would you be happy with that? To be honest, the "oh, they live a life of lavish luxury" is exaggerated and misconstrued constantly. Captial punishment cannot be implemented because 1) There's no proof that it's a deterrent 2) The cost of a miscarriage of justice is huge and 3) What's the point? I'd rather have a painless injection than spend my life in a shoebox.

Yeh you can't just make exceptions from it as well no matter how certain you are. I agree if it was your own child you are going to feel things that are undiscribably to anyone who hasn't gone through it. And you would want revenge and the guy responsible to be killed. But that's not to say its right. We have a court of law that we live by.

I don't agree with capital punishment, but I don't agree with the state of our prisons. They need to be toughened up massively, but sadly due to human rights Etc this isn't possible. Sadly there's no way of actually Punishing the guy officially within the rules, but hopefully the guy is seen as completely evil by the inmates he's with and gets his life made a living hell.

I suffered horrendous abuse both physical and sexual when I was a child at the hands of a family member I was too scared to say anything at the time, even though I wish I had the courage to have killed him. After years of being in trouble and being classed as a problem child, I finally had the courage and support from a tremendous social worker and a terrific counsellor who gave me the confidence to tell them about what happened to me. It took me 12 years to fully explain what happened to me, however I am so glad i did. it went to court , and this was before the chance to give video evidence. He was sentenced to 14 years in prison, and too be honest I took more pleasure knowing that family and friends knew exactly what he was like than give the option, of any easy way out.

Then you no fukall about the british prison systen! All sex offenders are put on a section 43 where they are segregated! Given there own utilitys to cook clean and are aloud to integrate with other like minded scum! They are also given extra stuff like tvs in there cells because they are not on normal courtyard exercise "NONCE" I.e they spend more time in there cells! So again!!
