Because Cardiff City's first choice colour has been Blue since 1908, we have chosen the 8th minute of the game for a one minute, in-game protest. When the clock reaches 8 minutes, please display your banner and/or card and take whatever other protest action you see fit at that moment. We have no desire to damage the image of Cardiff City (the re-branding has contributed so much to that already) so at the pre-game protest and during the game, please conduct yourself with dignity and respect fellow fans. Then im part of that protest for wearing blue i guess along with 1000s of others this does not mean i will be chanting VT out or anything which i feel might happen but just carrying on as normal throughout the game chanting the boys on the pitch which is what its about . :ayatollah:

If you are a true bluebird, as I am you want the best for our club, OK people don`t like red, neither do I ! But we have never been in a stronger position, the quality of players coming in and surely one of the favourites to go up, with Bellamy coming back also.

How good is that ! in my opinion, rationally speaking, wear blue as a protest and continue to so, but don`t get in the way of our team taking us back to top flight football. That is just shooting ourselves in the foot ! Get behind, the bluebirds and lets be the 12th man ! Let`s stop abusing each other and stop the infighting and get behind our great club. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

On the first day of the season the truth will be there for all to see. Most people will wear blue because that's who we are. Many will wear no colours because that's what most lads do. A few with wear red. Gwyn will look like a dick. Gwyn, what is your problem mate? Are you on the Swansea payroll or something? Is BigGwynram actually you?

Adam, you are trying to create Urban legends, and think that if you keep making these claims often enough, then somehow they will become true, please show us these posts you claim I made, or at the very least quote the statements I supposedly made.
Yes I have taken the piss out of you, along with half the country, because you set yourself up for the ridicule you deserve.

If you are disabled, then I know nowt about your disability, and for the record what is your disability because some of your former school mate are as in the dark as I am? unless being an attention seeking bigoted plank is now recognised.

Most people take what you say with a big pinch of salt, even you must know that, your credibility on here is comical and if you seriously are going into comedy, then you will be a natural.

Many people on here know me and my background and links with disabled people and also the fact that for thirty years my life and the profession I chose to work in was based around disability, so finally yet again I ask either put up or shut up.

Isn't that just a way of saying we as an organisation don't want to be linked with any such action, but do what you want to. or just as you se fit, to me it's simply a get out clause in case it kicks off.

Can't see where your coming from? the pre seasons friendlies I've been to this year I attended in a blue tee shirt with the I'll be there logo, and for the others a blue club shirt.

My suggestion at the very first meeting was to wear the blue club shirt as a show of our love for the colour and tradition, that was never an issue to me, in fact I don't see that as a protest, more a freedom of choice, VT owns the club and his freedom of choice as the owner is to choose the colour, mine as a customer is to wear what i want.

Don't see the problem with people who are against the rebrand showing their point of view by holding up blue cards (or whatever is proposed) on 8 mins. Won't effect the team, not distupting anything. whats the issue ?

Re: AND THIS FROM SO CALLED CARDIFF SUPPORTERS

Tue Aug 07, 2012 3:46 pm

For the 90 minutes every true fan needs to get behind the team regardless of thoughts on rebrand. Personally i want Cardiff in Blue but i wont protest against the board as it will be detrimental to the 11 players on the pitch.

At the end of the day Gwyn, if people want to protest inside the ground then they will and no matter how many times you post about it on here then there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. So instead of attempting to bully people out of it, be that through these supposed threats of violence, or belittling people on here, just accept that it may happen whether or not you disagree with it.

As i said, there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.

What a chicken shit way of wording a statement. It says to take WHATEVER OTHER ACTION YOU SEE FIT and then says CONDUCT YOURSELF WITH DIGNITY.

How can a protest be planned in such detail and then become so woolly when it comes to an in game protest? Everyone knows how certain fans react when given the opportunity. When their thoughts and opinions are not being recognised they take it a little too far.

Why doesn't the statement explain fully what is expected from the in game protest, why isnt there instructions to repeat a certain chant or remain silent whilst standing with your blue card. By giving the the statement ACTION YOU SEE FIT you are asking for provocation, arguments amongst fans and an altogether stinking atmosphere.

I am still for the protest, but if the ACTION YOU SEE FIT causes issues in my area, my support for any further protests will be removed.
