he refused a cortisone injection which in all fairness is his right. cortisone injections are known to cause arthritis in later years so i dont personally blame jay for that.
jones knew all week that there was a limited chance of jay playing yet produced no plan b

But before the biggest game in his life ?

The most important game in our history.

Could you have seen Stant, Perry, Young, Dwyer etc.. poofing out like that ?

Although we could've done with Chopra/Bothroyd talent they were just a bunch of big headed tossers glad we saw the back of them but a shame we didn't get f**k all for Bothroyd but there we go life's a bitch

That's a good point.

Anyone know why our leader or anyone else in the apparent know didn't know about the Helguson deal?

Gutted truthully.
Malky needs to stop playing it safe he needs to take a risk.. he strikes me as the kind of manager that would do that.
Ent he a manager that every player respects? Surely a man of his kind can handle egos.
This is why I respect Mancini because he works with Balotelli, Tevez.. Everyone saying they should go but Mancini does work hard to work with them. :ayatollah:

Comparing Manchester City and Cardiff City, Mancini and Malky.. Malky has a right to do what he likes, he's the manager of the club, why take risks, why disrupt the harmony of the club? He already has to put up with the scouse tw*t that is Anthony Gerrard

It doesn't change the fact that Malky shouldn't take a risk.. what sort of danger is there signing Bothroyd? 'He has an Ego' I'm pretty sure MM can handle him.

are you serious what about peter thorne :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Hahahaha. Good player at league 1 level but not in the same league as Jay.

Peter thorne lovelly fella that he was, wasn't in the same class as bothroyd, how often did we actually see thorne score with his feet his biggest attribute was being able to lose his marker in the box to head home.
I have been watching since 1969 and have not seen a stiker as skillful as bothroyd
