Chops at his peak is a far better player than Maynard. Not fit to lace Chopra's boots. He's never impressed me when playing against us

Maynard scored a few beauties against us last season. a strike rate of 1 in less than 3 for an average side. I think hes a 20 goal a season man if we get him.

Bristol got 250k in Jan as opposed to f**k all in July.

We paid a total of £4m for a 15 goal highest scoring midfielder in La Liga from last season and the best defender from the 4th best defence from the same league.

So with all due respect, £4m can get you plenty of quality better than Nicky Maynard .

I tend to agree but on reasonable wages and a free transfer I think JB is worth the gamble

I just don't think Maynard is going to happen (hope I am wrong) but judging by recent history....the way the club gets players is they sneak them through with little competition from other clubs.


Seems to me under the Malky era....when a player is linked to Cardiff, and there is speculation, the club losess or is outbid, or "was never really interested".

I hope there is a plan B...it just feels like the club tries to sign one player at a time...
