No Langston 'lent' money to Cardiff City and the club spent it. It is the same principle as if a bank had loaned money to the club, they would also expect to be repaid. Indeed even if Sam Hammam was Langston (which he wasn't) the club would still be liable for the debt.

The club didn't spend the money langstone lent, it was to cover an existing loan with citi-bank I believe.

VT is in the driving seat - If he walks away Langston and the others owed money will get nought as no one else would buy our club due to the massive debts.
