And we have now signed Mutch, kimbo, velikonja and if this is to believed.... Bellamy. All 4 would certainly offset the likes of wilding, heaton, parkin, Quinn et al.

This is without Maynard and the other prem loans being mentioned

Do you have a girlfriend?

No I'm asexual like Stephen fry

I'm guessing no.

Good guess

I'm kind of seeing a smelly scruffy bedroom with sheets so stiff with jizz that they
resemble popadoms. Greasy hair, lots of computer equipment. Perhaps some
borderline 'youngster' videos in the cabinet disguised as 'Swansea's Greatest Goals'

Maybe you should have a tidy up then. That sounds awfully unpleasant :?

Your not gay, nope. I'm convinced your just unlucky with women, soap may help
No not gay. Not unlucky either, just asexual.

Not strictly true I have a lovely group of friends

Sometimes you get so wound up about Cardiff (Capital) City that you forget to masturbate

I predict you will end it all within the next twelv months.

Clearly either forums such as this are provoking a strong reaction in you or indeed I take you for your word and assume it is me that is provoking this reaction. But seeing as I'm only making factual observations maybe you should either ignore me or take a break from the net for a while.

Unless you have the exact pay packets etc, stating exact wages. Not stats on a website, then you dont know that for certain. Miller would be a direct swap for Kim Bo Kyung based on wages if you believed what stats say. Parkin was on a large wage too, same goes for Taiwo. At least the players being brought in are First team challengers, not players not good enough to grace the stands. See the positive Mr Magic, Competition creates a better team

Parkin was not on a large wage and I'd be surprised if Taiwo was. Anyone could have a safe guess that the 30k for Bellamy would cover the wages of Taiwo, Parkin, Quinn, Heaton, wildig alone. Probably more than covers.

And again this is without velikonja, Mutch and the other premier league players we are interested in getting.

There's no getting around it really.

Does this take into account Dave Jones and his staff that are no longer on the books? Bellamy will make his money back in shirt sales, same as he did before when he played for us. Parking I believe was on about 9 grand a week, ridiculous money considering he barely played, at least these players being brought in will be playing.

But now we have Malky and his staff.

Why do people talk so much rubbish! Shirt sales? Let me tell you some facts....

We get around £5 profit per shirt. Last year we sold 9,000 shirts at a profit of £45k. In order to cover bellamys wages for the coming 12 months we will need to increase our current 9000 shirt sales figure to 270,000 jerseys. A third of liverpools worldwide sales.

Yes but we were paying them both last year. Dave Jones, his staff plus Malky and his staff. Do you work at the stadium? We also got to a cup final last year. Income has been aroun £14-£15 million for a few years now. Wage bill has steadily increased and over the last few years has settled around the £16 million mark. These are facts.

No I don't work at the stadium, nor does that matter. We don't make the shirts we order them, we sell them and the supplier takes the majority of the cut. I know this as I've worked in a company that supplied kits before. The figure of 9000 was quoted to me by a member of the club. This is not a shockin figure, it's about average for a club our size.

A quick google search will probably tell you the profit clubs make off shirt sales. It's next to nothing,

Well let's explore this.

How many do you think we sell on average and how many do you think we will sell if Bellamy signs?

Also

How muchmdomyou think we make off each shirt.

On a good season? 12,000 odd Id say, taking into account fans who dont always turn up but buy the merchandise regardless and averaging crowds of 20,000+. If bellamy signs, to be honest Id say maybe a few thousand more, maybe 14-15 mark. This also taking into account fans who just buy it because its bellamy, you only have to look at the impact he made when we signed him. The shirt sales profit basically payed off the debt we owed to Motherwell for Paul Quinn. I think the club also make more than £5 a shirt, perhaps £7-8 per shirt. Not far off what you said.

So 3000 more shirts at £8 a pop is 24k... Not even a weeks wages.

Yeah I suppose, but thats on estimates of £30k a week based on estimates, might be right.. might be a little less. If he is coming home for the right reasons, family etc then he should settle for a little less as he's coming to the end of his career. Bellamy is a local boy too, as I said previously the profit he made basically payed off the debt to Motherwell according to reports at the time and the debt was significantly more than £24k, so it makes you think how much money the club raked in by bringing him in.

That news story was clearly nonsense, just by doing the simple maths tells you that.

30k a weeks is certainly a bottom estimate and in all likelihood will be more than that. It's certainly a pay cut from what he's currently on.

The simple fact is clubs like us do not make money from shirt sales, Bellamy or no Bellamy. Certainly not enough to pay his wages for any more than a week anyway, let alone 52 weeks.

He certainly could be the difference. As could many premiership players could to other championship clubs, but they don't sign them coz they cant afford them which could end up in crippling their club.

The last time he was here he had younger legs and still couldn't make the difference in us going up. Fail this to,e and that could be the end of us

Neither would many of us but with the level of debt right now we have to go for promotion. Your ideas would just send us backwards and would also see us go out of buisness
