Lets not hide behind internet names, so your real name is Tubzo then

As stated that's what my friends and any other person who meets me knows me as.

Let's make it clear here, and get back to the real topic.

This is not about Red or Blue. This is not about Investment, or no investment. This is not about which side is right or wrong in their view.

This is about the way a group tried to influence others through intimidation/bullying.

Most of the posters here are pro Blue, I believe, and do not necessarily support the potential of protests inside the ground.

So why are they have a go at Gwyn? It is because of the feedback in regards the approach used at this meeting, and obviously he is an easy target because he is a well known figure, and therefore taking the full flack for this group that attended.

The easy thing here is for Gwyn to distance himself from this group, and condemn the intimidation tactics.

It has been requested on many occassions, but I have not seen a response from Gwyn. This concerns me, and leads me to believe he does not condemn it, because it is easy to write a few words on this board (And he has posted a lot of words recently).

The only 2 things I can summise from this, is that he either condones the actions or, he is being bullied/intimidated by people in this group that attended. :old:

Until he distances himself publicly, then he really will have major problems in gaining back any of the respect he had (Me included).

Spot on with the post. Gwyn not only fails to distance himself from the threats but tells us that it should only been seen as a threat if you intend taking some form of action as if that makes the threat somehow more acceptable. His justification for making these threats were watered down to being made only as a generalisation again to justify them as being more acceptable. If in any doubt then here is the actual words he used : " no threats were made by me personally other than as a generalization that was shared by a good few, I wouldn't stand by and just allow disruption to events on the pitch without at least trying to prevent it, if that is seen as a threat, then it should only be seen as one by those planning such actions"

Jinks, a lot of people keeping saying this. So, why doesn't Gwyn just issue a statement condeming the actions of the others he was with?

It really should be that easy, shouldn't it, or am I missing the point here?

The fact that he hasn't already come out and condemned the actions speaks volumes.I think his mentality is that if you don't protest then the threats are not aimed at you. :ayatollah:

Vince has wrote a great OP but the message seems lost on many.

BigGwyn is a passionate guy and so are many of the KCB. They have clashed argued and debated this matter to death so by now most fans will know which side of the divide they are on.

There is nothing now to be gained from one side demonising the other.

All is left is for Gwyn (& pro-rebranding) to do things their way, the KCB likewise.

But what we must do is still come together on matchdays when the REALLY important stuff happens.

So we have someone who's daughter was reprimanded for making fun of dead football fans backing up someone who threatens his fellow fans with iron bars if they don't share his opinion.

What a thread :D

Not picking on you in particular BB'64, but this kind of demonising is really pointless and childish. The same goes for any similar stupid remarks made by a pro-rebrand (and that includes Big Gwyn) towards the KCB.

Leave this crap at the login, its passed its sell by date.

The group who he brought to the meeting which he stands for said they would use iron bars and said they would bury anyone who doesn't agree with them.... That's means murder right? So death threats.... You do the math.

OkTony we will all stick our heads in the sand and pretend it never happened.Asking for a man to distance himself from threatening behaviour is anything but childish and pointless but you are entitled to your opinion unlike the members of the KCB who's opinion was subjected to threatening and intimidatory behaiviour. :ayatollah:

He is without sin should throw the first stone.

Look BB'64 the KCB are not inocent either so this pointless and yes very childish name calling has got to stop somewhere. Being 'entitled to an opinion' doesn't mean you are free to demonise people and I'm sorry that is something you desperately need to learn.

The KCB is still around and still has an agenda. Get on with it and stop trying to make yourselves out as some kind of latter day martyrs.
