So the Valleys are Pro Red and City folk are Pro Blue, any news on Newport, Bridgend and the Vale.

there are many in the valleys who are pro blue and are adamant that the club have ripped out their hearts...

others like myself are fuming at the change of colour, but realise they cannot do anything about it and for the good of cardiff city are prepared to see where it takes us..


personally i think it depends on what generation you started following city rather than where you are from...


i.e. the older city fans of 40/50 yrs plus have different views to the hardcore following of the late 70's to early 90's then the 2000 onwards who started following once we were at this level are different again... i dont think it has anything to do with were you come from...

1. don't like the change.

2. realise that as I don't own the Club, put £1 million a month of my money in to keep it afloat, that I don't get to make the decisions.

3. am prepared to see where this goes.

4. will continue to support Cardiff City and not due anything that may affect the boys on the park.


what does confuse me is why do KCB feel they have any say in what the owners do with the Club? They don't own it.
If you don't like the change to the point that you feel you can't support it, fair enough, I totally respect your decision, then simply don't go and don't spoil it for the rest of us. All the nonsense about Gwyn... there has been numerous comments on both boards in the last few weeks about "if you were to wear a red shirt I wouldn't be surprised if someone has a pop at you".

I honestly don't see what your accent has to do with anything. So if I've got a Welsh accent then I'm pro-red? I've got my own views on both sides but they are not formed on the way I speak. To post on here attacks on anyone's accent is quite childish really. Obviously the op spun things around a bit with an attack on a Valley's accent however the posted comment about not even having a Cardiff accent wouldn't have been made by a Valley's person. So the actual insult wouldn't have been made by a Valley person now would it.

Perhaps Vincent Tan has seen this and maybe he sees that as a problem going forward and maybe that was part of his decision to move towards a colour he sees as being more encompassing. Gwyn and his minions chose to take issue with peoples accents, amongst other things - as the fake TLG has merely summarised

I am at this moment in utter disbelief at the actions of this so called football supporter and his cronies. There were a lot of women there tonight, as well as pensioners. ''Equal rights, equal fights'' I hear you say, but how anyone can behave like this towards passive members of a peaceful organisation is beyond me.

To behave like they did tonight, threatening those with a different opinion, is contemptible.

Other interesting facts I was priviliged to learn of tonight.

- You ARE NOT allowed to support Cardiff City unless you possess a thick, strong Valleys accent - possession of a non-Valleys accent will result in utter derision and belittlement, without much care to actual point being made.

- Any protests during a match (regardless of age, sex or creed) by anti-reds WILL be met with what amounts to force by, for want of a better word, 'reds' - HOWEVER, if Vincent Tan does not deliver his promises within 6 months, said pro-reds will be allowed to protest inside the ground during a match.

- Protests that might disrupt the players will also not be tolerated - even though members of the 'pro-reds' have taken actions against past managers or owners that has inevitably affected the players.

- Seemingly, Vincent Tan is our saviour and saved the club. However, the extent to which he saved the club is so flimsy that the 'reds' are worried a few protests might make said millionaire walk away, leaving the club to die. Doesn't sound much like being saved - Firemen don't just carry victims to the window of their burning house and waggle the victims head out of the window for a bit.

GWYN and his Henchmen tbh i doubt gywn is the henchman or a leader for some of the people there lastnight, i mean there was one guy there whos got 700+ doorman working for him he hardly needs gwyn to tell him what to do ffs these forums are getting better with the comedy, although threats are below the belt thats something im against 100% but whos going to stand up to these people, NOBODY on here and ive not been told nobody argued some of the points certain people chucked out so that says it all, so what now bar reading how some posters in joes bloggs accounts would do if they was there last night listening to threats and what they would have done crap, well that just makes it more laughable.
