I suggest that after taking a look at the squads of Leicester, Bolton and wolves alone you will see we aren't strong enough with or without kimbo. I'd also suggest if it has been well documented that kimbo is available for £2.4m and he was any good... Don't you think someone better than us would have taken a punt?

Just a suggestion.

We finished above big spending Leicester last season.

Thats factually correct.

Why is nobody else trying to hijack the deal considering the fact it's completely public and dragging on..

So you're trying to say that because it's man utd is ok? Man utd have made plenty of transfter disasters in my time so that doesn't change the situation at all. There were other clubs in for him and he decided on Cardiff as he didnt want to jump in at the deep end. It's his first club in europe, different culture etc so he wants to work up from there. A lot of players have done what he wants to do so 'premier league' clubs wouldn't bid as they know what he wants to do

I'm saying if it's clear to all in world football that kimbo is available for £2.5m then how come the biggest British club that's interested is a championship club? It's not a matter of him not wanting to jump in at the deep end in English football, he didn't have a choice. We are clearly the only English club that want him.

Celtic also wanted him so you have your facts wrong there and yes it was as if you read quotes from the players agent he clearly states that Cardiff won't be his first european club as he wants bigger and better things, they agreed Cardiff as it was the best situation for him to start in european football.

you happily suggest that as Cardiff are a Championship side, we will not, cannot attract decent
players. The very fact that Kim Bo is coming to us suggests he could not cut it anywhere else.. you
say!!!!... If he was any good.... he'd be in the Premiership.

Yet Leicester were in this division all last season and spent a fortune, and finished below us. But
for all the big talk by Sven. The players he attracted to Leicester MUST have been sub-standard,
or they wouldnt be playing in the Championship. If Cardiffs signings are sub-standard, because
after all... what decent player would play in this division... same goes for Bolton and Wolves.

Or is it just Cardiff who cant attract a good player?

So today, instead of the uneducated gibberish about the clubs finances and the reams of posts you've commented on Kim Bo Kyung being too expensive for us, today you've come in at a different angle claiming he's not a very good player whatsoever and nobody else wanted him - make your mind up - you're letting your guard down in this thread Jack. Celtic wanted him and made an approach. I paraphrase"We had lots of offers but we've agreed on Cardiff City, although this won't be my only club in europe". CCFC made an early move, no doubt with a little help from our Asian benefactors and it's paid dividends

The highest profile signing by any welsh club this summer. Is that what's bugging you ?

Yes we are a championship club, nowhere near the best one at that. IF kimbo was as good as we are suggesting... Given the fact nobody has seen him... Then I'm making the point someone bigger in the English leagues would come in for him, even more so now his fee and wages are public knowledge and the fact it's taken weeks and still not finalised.

Has anyone come in? No.

Hi again. My posts regarding the finances were based on an incredible education, these posts helped find the fact we are paying 3% of income to wages which suggests in the interest of trying to run a sound business then any extra signings are going to be a burden to our financial position let alone making kimbo one of the highest paid permanent players in our history.

Today a thread, this thread, suggested that without him we don't look good enough. I simply made the point that we don't know we will be good enough with him considering none of us have seen him, nobody seems to want to come in for him other than us and he's spent his whole career in an awful league.

Celtic are barely a big side these days, they play in the equivelant of league 1 with he likes of Craig Beattie shining. The fact he said it won't be his oly club in Europe suggests what exactly? We weren't Eddie johnsons only club in Europe either.

The highest profile signing in wales is without a doubt that of Michu. 15 goals in la liga last year with interest from man united and Liverpool, it's embarrassing you would even try and dispute that.

Hope this helps?

The highest profile signing in wales is without a doubt that of Michu. 15 goals in la liga last year with interest from man united and Liverpool, it's embarrassing you would even try and dispute that.

Hope this helps?

so you turn this to praise the jacks again? get a grip youre a f*cking joke now, people might listen to you if you were not pretending to be a cardiff fan, just sad imo

Bluebird_87 wrote:Yes but saying "others have done it" doesn't really cut it as far more have failed.park was playing in serie a when united signed him and the very fact man united signed him makes it a different situation.

Everybody in football now knows they can get him for £2.5 mill and 18k a week.... Why is it then that with a premier league player singing his praises... Why is it that only we are in for him?

So by your own reckoning, we have nothing to fear from Wolves, Bolton or anyone else. they are
just Championship sides, and cannot attract decent players. Cool. We really do have a chance

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. The only time I've mentioned those teams is to say they have better squads than us.. Which they do. So how you have come to the conclusion of the opposite is bizarre... And slightly amusing

Try and pay attention

you happily suggest that as Cardiff are a Championship side, we will not, cannot attract decent

Who said we can't attract a good player? Are you making things up to try and argue with? :?

Yes we are a championship club, nowhere near the best one at that. IF kimbo was as good as we are suggesting... Given the fact nobody has seen him... Then I'm making the point someone bigger in the English leagues would come in for him, even more so now his fee and wages are public knowledge and the fact it's taken weeks and still not finalised.

Has anyone come in? No.[/quote]

So your now saying we CAN attract good players? Does that mean if you wipe the
bitterness out of your eyes and spit that lemon out that your ready to admit Kim Bo,
Mutch, Velikonya, Lewis could well be excellent signings???

Dont forget now. You've stated that if any of these players were any good, they
wouldnt be at Cardiff, bigger Clubs would have come in.

So these 'powerful' squads of Leicestr, Wolves and Bolton......

f**k all to fear. Cos if they were any good.... BIGGER Clubs would have come in and taken
all their best players.

Im fed up of waiting now

Same here. Playing the waiting game

Although with Jack Magic stating

A. We can't afford him

B. He's rubbish anyway

Maybe no news is good news ;-)

A) that goes without saying. £84 million in debt growing by £15 million a year with our complete income not even sufficient to cover our current wage bill without the addition of kimbo.

B) nobody knows how good he is. Although going by the lack of interest from the prem.. He probably isn't as good as some are hoping he is.
