My guess and that all it is - Rhodes to Reading meaning Le Fondre to us... Cox would be a good shout though.

Gutting to lose a player like Kenny, hopefully his replacement is Charlie Austin or Ross McCormack if it's costing us a bit on his replacement! :ayatollah:

Velikonja is a player similar to kenny (though a lot younger) so even if beller's does sign are we going to change our formation and play 2 up, maybe even 3 ?

we need at least one class striker to replace him plus the slovenian + bellamy we cant rely on bellamy he will be high risk this season for injury, if he goes and the other guy goes kenny miller could of done a top job,

my concern is if we dont get someone in as good or better we wont gain promotion, we have to think out of the box and injury's do happen

I don't want to lose Miller but the replacement lined up is very good and will cost a few million. :ayatollah:

Thats good news :ayatollah:
if we pull it off ofcourse,

so I'm right in thinking he's eying an additional signing to bellamy and the slovenian lad?

Not bothered. Good proffesional but not worth the money. Blew some awful chances you would expect a guy if his salary and experience to take.

Wish him atb but hopefully we can get better in for the kind of money we were paying.

Cox, Maynard or Austin would be delighted with. I think Rhodes is out of our price range.

Still shame to see keeny go as he always gave 100% for a thankless task running the front line with little supply

We really need to have someone virtually nailed on too sign who is better than Miller otherwise I think we are really short of quality options up top. Miller is ageing so would release if someone younger and better are to come in. :ayatollah:

Personally I think it's a bit of a shame that we've lost him after only a year, but like I hinted at the time many Cardiff will feel indifferent. His desired replacement would be a massive coup for Cardiff City and would be welcomed by everyone I'm sure

There were other clubs interested but most wanted CCFC to contribute to KM's salary. Vancouver will pay the entire wages so it's been agreed that there will no fee. Just to add to Carls'thread on Richard Keogh, a fee has been agreed on and the stalling was partly if not fully down to Keogh and his agent. Unbelievably Mr Keogh didn't want to play right back!! Leeds are monitoring the situation too. What we do know it'll either be Malkys way or the highway. To be continued

Kim-Bo Kyung to be signed tomorrow? That'll be another fantastic acquisition. More good news soon hopefully

Spot on fair play, I think we'll miss Millers work rate. Still pastures new and all that, I wish him well and thank Kenny for all his hard work.

Other interested parties wanted us to contribute towards his wages. I'm told Vancouver will pay every penny of the salary. If Miller and Cardiff City both wanted the deal to be conducted swiftly, this would be the best option and also granting certain players a free transfer where the possibility of cash exchanging hands was an option, is often shown as a gesture of goodwill and a mark of respect to the player involved

Sorry Lake I can see your point but to me this is yet another prime example of the club throwing money away. We paid around £750,000 for him just one year ago and he's now allowed to go on a free just a year into his contract. Surely not every club interested refused to pay all of his salary..?

Re: Kenny Miller to Vancouver Whitecaps

Spot on again Tony ....... Miller will be missed for his work rate and the odd match winning goal but a return of 1 goal from his last 25 or or so games isnt all that impressive at this level . Maybe the lack of a fee will be made up by NOT paying him a reported £25K a week ?? :ayatollah: :D :ayatollah:

I agree, £25k a week saving is as good as a fee . Thanks but see ya ;)

Make your mind up Adam. You've spent half your time on here trying to tell people the Malaysians were con artists and didn't have a penny - now you're worried that we're throwing it away frivolously. These things happen as you know and if CCFC have agreed to let him out of his contract it will actually save money won't it?

Ignore him, he spends half of his time fighting for Oliver Cromwell and a secret agent for Winston Churchill. His little bubble of a world is beyond comprehension, he is now busy building up his empire of being a Master over us Taffs.

I am fully against another loan against the club like many, many others and until it is shown on the books that debt is turned into shares then I will continue to be against it. However we are where we are and now the club has got cash in their pockets down to the latest loan then it should give them the green light to throw the money away in deals like this.
