I'm sorry too, a nickname is unofficial by it's very nature.

If you've got a nickname that you don't like try telling your mates that you're changing it!

It doesn't work. And despite VT possibly writing The Dragons on our shirts, it won;t change the fact that we are Bluebirds one bit!

Nicknames are unofficial and lots of clubs actually have more than one like Swansea - Swans & Jacks, Sunderland - The Lads & Black Cats, Leicester City - The Filberts, The Fosse & The Foxes, Leeds Utd - The Peacocks, United, Whites & Mighty Whites, West Ham Utd, The Hammers & The Irons, Sheffield Wedsnesday - The Wednesday, The Owls & The Blades, Bristol City , The Robins, The ciderheads & The Ziderheads, Everton - The School Of Science, The Toffees & The Blue Noses, Newport County, The iornsiders & The exiles, Wrexham - The Robins, The Reds & The dragons

The list could go on and on try asking Stanqpr how many different nicknames QPR have all of which goes to show clubs have many nicknames and some are not always obvious or well known but they are still nicknames.

Much is made of the Bluebirds but how many remember when Cardiff was more commonly known as "The City".

Adam still waiting for a link to a direct quote from VT that he is "Against Everything Blue". Glad I didn't hold my breath on that one. ;)

Please note that I start by stating 'If' VT is against everything blue. Like you I'm still un-convinced that is the case until I see an 'official' quote from him. However 'If' he is against it then surely Bluebirds would be under the carpet soon or not..?

So we are dealing with the hypothetical which is fair enough because we both know VT has never said he is against Blue, but of course accepting that means your thread is pretty much pointless. That would make the prefix "If" meaningless and perhaps a better prefix would be "Why" would he be "Against Everything Blue" but maybe that would be off message.

The Bluebird nickname will remain because it's what so many Cardiff fans have identified the club with over the years and VT knows this. There is no stroke of a pen or wave of a wand that can change so my answer is yes the Bluebird nickname will remain.

So one mans vision, didn't Alan Sugar have a vision for Tottenham and look what happened there.

I'm betting 'angry man' was a very angry boy. Devoid of friends, a lonely
Isolated life. Politics? Hmm there's a winner... Lots of colleagues, lots
Of people to meet. But always, the unpopular boy of his childhood lurks
Like impending doom inside.. Eating away.

That won't be far from the truth.

You are smashed day in day out on here, an object of ridicule...

Yet every day your back.

Laughed at and mocked is better than being ignored.

I'm right aren't I

Are you crying?

So you didn't read it. Let me help;

"Along with the retention of the long standing Bluebird"

Answers your question that doesn't it :? But you continue to focus on any negative, in your mind, regarding our Malaysian investors. You have been saying for months that the Malaysians would only be putting in a minimum amount of money, and yet you do not comment on the commitment by VT to pump £100m of his money into our club. Is that what you class as a minimum amount of money. :o

I think it's about time we had a little transparency from you so please explain what motivates you to constantly criticse our Malaysian investors.

Is there any possibility any time soon that you migh start a positive thread about
The club you profess to love?

Is that a trick question?
