Cardiff Close to Announcing 3 new signings

Hes got that off twitter ... Tony rivers tweetted about an hour ago that 3 quality signings were close expected this week . How much truth is in it I don't know !

f**k all probably, only rumours i believe are from Carl or Sky Sports/BBC, the others that claim they're in the know can f**k off!

Ok mate several seasons ago BBC and Sky both said Cardiff will sign Jason Koumas from West Brom and he went to Wigan.
And in January Carl stated "We are Very close" several times without us signing anyone apart from Kaddem Harris.

So not always spot on, people hear several stories and relay info to others.

I'll only believe we signed a player once he's holding that red shirt in his hands. I dont care if we almost signed a player doesnt mean anything

There were one or two that knew about Jordan Mutch a week or so before it was announced. Nothing was mentioned in public out of respect from where it originated. I'm the source of tweet this thread mentions. No big deal. I just like hearing and relaying good news to fellow City. I believe we're on the verge of tying these deals up. They are all at advanced stages - fingers crossed

What i did mention was a meeting was brokered(by someone we both know personally)but it turned out his 20k a week expectation was a little bit out of our own valuation. I don't post here much but when I am imparted some proper info I don't mind sharing it if I can. I was possibly among an extremely minute number of Cardiff who knew a week before the Jordan Mutch news that we had him, but had to keep that between myself and the educated source who was good enough to tell me

Yeah I also remember when Carl said not to expect any signings in the next 10 days and Jordon Mutch signed about 20 minutes later.

Hard to say. The 3 are all excellent quality for this level, but all have been touted at one stage or another since last season so won't come as a major surprise like the Mutch deal.
