i am aware, and he's (i bleed blue) actually taken the time on facebook to message me to say he attends games when i'm not even on about him i dont even know the kid so why would it be about him?!

With the shit Gerrard has taken from some muppets over the last few months I would say hes done well

he should be allowed to have a dig back cos hes only human, but he should atleast try to control himself! he should know how much trouble players get into by what they do on twitter!

i can't understand the logic behind it being acceptable for so called city fans to abuse their own players, that is the first point at which things need to change, it doesn't benefit the team or the player whatsoever. Maybe he should reel it it but as I said, the amount and level of abuse he's received, with aspersions like have been made in this thread with no further evidence or facts to base it on then I don't blame him for losing it now and again

Apologies to Cal for being so paranoid. I don't like Gerrard because of his attitude and I had tweeted him to say I hope he takes the opportunity and leave, now compared to other tweets I have seen and they go into detail, I don't tweet him every day either but I know I'm not alone on wanting Gerrard to go, I don't like him because he moans and moans on Twitter about not playing and sort of criticising Malky in a way, it's silly! Posts a photo of him and Trundle to wind us up even more.. now fans say how can you abuse your own players, everyone bar Gerrard I have the uttermost respect for, true professionals but Gerrard doesn't strike me as one. "Least it weren't Man Utd" tell me what relevance that had, we have to live with the fact we never won, he'll probably celebrate it when his career is over. I'll be glad to see him leave

I hate these mugs who give it large to footballers then cry like a girl when they get some stick back! We got loads of muppets at Cardiff who abuse players then go grassing to the stewards when they get anything back. Muppets!

I take my hat off to Matty Taylor, got all the rent boy abuse off us when taking a corner at upton park, then gave it large to us when he put the ball straight on Nolans head. Cant fault him
