Technically your right, but in principle and reality your very wrong. England have it played before their games instead of Land of Hope and Glory which is a massive sign of disrespect to Cymru, Scotland and NI. Not to mention f*cking arrogant.
It is also a perfect example of why I am Welsh and not British. I don't care what my passport or any other legal document says because my heart says Welsh and surely that is the most important thing?
The way I see it I don't want Bellamy, Ramsey, Allen or Taylor in a Welsh shirt ever again. They have taken selfish actions and have endangered the footballing independence of a whole country. Platini and Blatter can give whatever reassurances they want about not losing our vote and not becoming a permanent GB team but every other day of the week you wouldn't trust them as far as you could throw them and nothing has changed in that regard.
The rest of the world don't see UK and don't hear GB all they understand is ENGLAND and they tar us all with the same stupid english propoganda brush.
I WOULD RATHER LOSE AS A WELSHMAN THAN WIN AS A 'BRIT'

That is your view. At the end of the day we are british and everyone has the right to represent Great Britian regardless. Even the I class myself Welsh first and formost I would be honoured to stand along side an englishman in representing the UK. Those players deserve to be representing the UK on such a large stage and its more SELFISH of anyone else trying to stop them. As for being a permenant GB team, why the f**k would england want to form a team with us??? There would be uproar from all the home nations so it would never happen.
And as for your egotistical nationalistic bollucks of rather losing as a welshman than win as a Brit is pathetic and is an insult to all proud welshman who represent the UK in any shape and form especially servicemen

I dunno. I cannot imagine standing there, NUMERO UNO... yet I cant
even see my own flag raised or sing my own national anthem. Thats
me. No problem with Britain, being British anything anyone wants to
do is fine by me.
But i cannot ever picture myself standing ramrod straight singing
God Save the Queen. Personally like.

I hope they go all the way and win, so the likes of Giggs can have something to show for his efforts in international football.
May also help our welsh team to know what its like to be winners in a major competition and that feeling may become contagious.
We do not own these players and they have made a decision to play and we should respect that decision.

Well for starters I was born in Cardiff so I support Cardiff. The decision to place them in the English league tier system was taken a long time before I was born and my birth had little to no effect on this and this doesn't affect my Welshness one bit. Secondly, if the Welsh league was at a similar standard to the SPL I would be all for moving into the Welsh league but unfortunately this isn't the case.
I am genuinely pleased for the Welsh players especially the Jacks because I think they are young, hungry, technically sound and could be very very good in the future. But they still went against the advice of the FAW and made a selfish decision PLACING THE FUTURE OF AN INDEPENDENT WELSH NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM IN DOUBT <------------ This is the most important part of the whole scenario - nothing else. Team GB is simply not worth it when put into perspective.

so the only way you would like to see cardiff play in wales is if the standard was higher![]()
thankfully your stance has softened somewhat from your last post but you still talk a load of nonsense , the faw is run by a load of freeloading dinosaurs who only want what keeps them feeling important , and why is it a selfish decision when it is supported by a majority of welsh football fans
i think you and your like are the selfish ones dictating to these players who they can and can't play for , there is no prouder welshman than craig bellamy ! think about it
