If the Jacks had done this rebrand thing as we are calling it, how would you really feel. Personally I would be gutted they had an investor behind them that could take them and make them into a long term top Premiership team.

I would be jealous as f**k, more jealous than them achieving promotion to the Premiership in the first place, if they had a colour or badge change it wouldn't mean a thing to me, but a billionaire backer would cut right through me.

There's only so much flyboy Jenkins and luck can do to keep you where you are.
Mr Tan's investment can in the medium term take CCFC beyond any lower level Premier league club who are just holding on every year. This is what is so exciting. When we get to the PL we could actually do something and compete rather than just keep our 10 fingers crossed that we scrape across the line every season.And we could do it in an expanded stadium that we would fill.

I think there are/will be a lot of jealous clubs out there.Whatever is said we will know that.

What "investment" you cant even afford a crocked 32 year old. Give it a break mate and spot whats actually happening at that club of yours. This investment has more strings attached than any "investment" I have ever seen before.

However it is you lot that miss the point. We have had a £46m "investment" this year, the same next, and if we stay up another 60 odd the year after, that's not mentioning parachute payments. All of which will dwarf the "investment" of Tan.

Every Jack (or any other supporter for that matter) that I've spoken to are pissing themselves laughing at us. Posts like this, pretending that the rebranding of 100 years of tradition is a good thing, are making us even more of a laughing stock.

To be honest if Rangers were demoted (even to the third division) there climb back up to the SPL would be FAR easier than us getting back up from the 2nd division. Lot more teams/much stronger competition. If Rangers faced that sort of challenge would they accept what we have to?

I wouldn't be jeolous of the investment, as far as I'm concerned it's all a big gamble. In all honestly I would be pissing myself at them and would be ribbing a lot of my Swansea mates, the same way they have taken the mick out of me.

If they go down they earn another £38 million... if the stay up they earn another £82 million with the new TV package = the minimum they would have earned in their visit to the Prem if it ended this year is £148 million - but in all likelyhood it will be £192 million + the £38 million parachute payments MORE THAN TWICE what Tan intends on investing and they can spend theirs on what they like. But we would get the same if we make the prem but I know that we have a much better chance of doing that with a 100m than the alternative. May not be jealous but they certainly don't want us to have the investment so perhaps nervous is more apt

This whole rebranding exercise is embarrassing for any true City fan. The way it was introduced, the lies, the actual badge 'design' if you can call it that.
I dont know where some people get their ideas from but every one of my mates hate the kit/badge and all bar one person I've spoken to in work think its shameful that it can happen...and he is a rugby fan.
Money isnt everything......I know we cant survive without the Malaysians backing but this whole thing stinks.....we are just his plaything of which he can do whatever he wants with.
If I was the fan of any other club I'd feel genuinely worried for us.....and disgusted that it was allowed to happen.
