The news up here in the NW is sounding pretty positive. However, the one thing that does concern me is the fact that CB39 has just signed a boot deal with Warrior and that the entire fee for that will go to the Craig Bellamy Foundation.

Time to move on... This is the same as last yr, if bellamy wants the move he has to make it happen himself, which in no way is he going to.. If bellamy should leave lpool as hes not in their plans, they will want a fee and only the likes of qpr will be willing to do this making them top of the list... It's all about getting the best with the money available, if we don't pay a fee we could possibly get an additional player or two. You have to realise, Bellamy is a great player, but sometimes it's better to get three really good players.

I think he will come personally, he has a good deal, and a good chance to help his home town club, and live in peace with his family, let's hope Brenda. Doesn't ruin it.....

Yes its easy for me to say as I'm not putting up 50k a week but the point is we are still a work in motion, we are still trying to establish ourselves as a Premiership club & to do that sometimes you need to push the boat out. For a player of his calibre for what he brings not only in undoubted talent but also desire, drive, determination, experience, the knowledge he can pass onto our younger lads are all in my opinion absolutely vital to retaining our PL position.

In a couple of seasons if we are still in the PL then yes I'd hope we would be bringing in some home grown talent but as our academy is only just kicking off I see this as a shrewd investment should it materialise.

I don't disagree with you and think it would be a great signing for you. Just given our relative positions at the moment I think we can spend the money better elsewhere. Yeah we may have some cash to spend but I still don't think it's wise to throw it around. I think your lot will be a lot stronger next season and let's hope you start off with a huge win!

And in my opinion its all in crags hands, if liverpool do want to get rid, even if qpr offer 2 million, if he refuses and they want him off their wages then they will have to try and deal with us. Remember with the wages hes currently on i recon hes going to cost them atm an extra 2-3 million for the year he has left on his contract. so regardless of whether they get a feee for him they will be 2 -3 million better off.
