I said ages ago that the re-brand was not just about shirts, people on see what they want to see, by the way I sit in the premier seating, just where the hell are they going to fit the gantry, there does not seem that much room above ?????

There will be a lot more advertising of Malaysia inside the stadium from the season start.

As well as tomorrow's meeting with supporters who have requested their season ticket money back, the club are also holding a meeting with Premier seat holders on Thursday.

Malky returns from a family holiday in France tomorrow and will look to add to the squad again with 'quality signings' in the next 10 days.

I thought it was excessive last season, don't they realise we're a Welsh club ffs

Could get messy from a legal perspective.

Where exactly is it going to be located? I thought the glass fronted bar extends pretty much to the roof line?

A lot of people seem to be ignoring the fact that it cannot be done, unless of course Tan intends to increase the debt by buying the rights to screen games (just as any other company does to screen games abroad).

Who in the name of god is going to watch Cardiff city in Malaysia other than Vincent Tan when he can’t be bothered coming over himself. Further proof that VT and the rest of the board have lost touch with reality.

The far east football market is simple really, if you’re a successful club with big name players they’ll love you. If you’re a championship club that has ultimately failed over the past few years they won’t give a flying f***

Mr Tan's plan , I think, is to turn us into a successful club with big name players.Nothing makes sense otherwise.I wouldn't bet much money on him doing it but he seems to be staking quite a bit.

Took this from Wikipedia, detailing countries who broadcast live/highlights of Championship matches.

Australia – Fox Sports broadcasts live Championship matches every weekend, as well as a Highlights show every Tuesday night at 7 pm.

Brazil – ESPN Brasil has exclusive rights to broadcast live two Championship matches every week.

Bulgaria – RING.BG broadcasts live two Championship matches every week.

Canada – Sportsnet World broadcast lives games each weekends as well as highlights once a week.

Germany – sportdigital.tv broadcasts one or two games every week.

Hungary – Sport 1 and its sister channel Sport 2 broadcasts the matches.

India and the subcontinent, Ten Action Plus broadcasts some of the matches in Non-HD.

Italy – Sportitalia has exclusive rights to broadcast live one match a week and highlights show.

Sweden – TV4 Sport shows one or two matches a week usually including a 3 pm kick off on the Saturday.

France – LequipeTV shows one match a week

Norway – Viasat Fotball shows one or two matches a week.

United States - Championship matches are broadcast several times a week on Fox Soccer and Fox Soccer Plus cable channels, and occasionally on ESPN.

Asia – (except Japan and Korea) most games are broadcasted by Goal TV.

Streaming – Betfair and Bet365 both broadcast matches internationally. Betfair notes that the territories to which they are able to stream events varies from sport to sport. Bet365 notes that some events are not permitted to stream within the host country.

I didn't realise that Championship matches were broadcast so widley around the world and I found it amazing that they go out in Brazil :ayatollah:

Yes, all those listed will be screened by TV stations, who would have paid for a license to show the games. A 'Live' game at 3 O'Clock in Alberta is actually 8am.

Some of these are slot fillers. 2 games a week, that's probably each team once every 5 weeks (if it was shared equally, which it isn't), sandwiched in between countless live and re-run Premiership, La Liga, Champions League, etc games.

Carl, Do You really believe that anyone in Malaysia will give a flying hoot should Cardiff City games get shown? I can confidently say on this subject that Mr Tan and Co are complete and utter loonies!
