I dont see a need to replace Taylor personally.
Did I say Rodriguez is or was a bargain at any price at anytime? no? ok

Point being is that now is the time to test the water at clubs, if he wanted Rodriguez, Keogh, Scannell or what ever name put in a lower bid and see the response. At worst they come back and say not for sale or give a price that you are aware of when the transfer window opens. I would think MM is looking at a number of players for the same position so as much as it is about quality it has to be about price as well.

Well I can fully agree with your last bit. Im not the smartest but I can see now.
On the other hand Im sorry Taylor was either running out of gas and the boy has not hit the gym, to weak towards the end. Knocked off the ball way to easily. :ayatollah:

I think both him and Kev struggled a little bit especially towards the end because we didnt play with wide players. Lawrence, Cowie, Mason all liked to move inside and while thats not a bad thing at certain times it doesnt offer great protection to the fullbacks.
It means the fullbacks have little cover but also need to provide all the width for the team. I dont know but id guess that Kev and Taylor covered more ground than anyone last season

I did feel sory for Taylor, needed the support on the left. They both covered lots of ground. I think if we had the wingers we would have been a threat on attacks. I personally believe that. Miller would benefit loads and I will not change my judgement on that. :ayatollah:

I agree, I think even just 3 key players could change the dynamics of our squad (we need more for depth).
But two wingers and a partner for Miller or Mason would go a long way to helping the first 11

I am super nervous, as many City Fans we all believe Joe Mason is getting better and is still learning.. but whats the expectation of him next season? Only hope he gets better and better. I really see this guy being over 5million.. :ayatollah:

I wouldnt be surprised to see MM bench him for a few games at the start of the season just to take the pressure off him.

Joe Ralls, Kadeem Harris, Joe Mason hopefully will be the most featured in pre season..
I hope MM trys some different formations! :ayatollah:

If they dont at least the U21 team now means they get games and the new 7 sub rule means they have a fighting chance.

I think wingers will mean he can change more and it be more effective.
He did play a number of formations but didnt really have the assets needed to change it big

The sub rule and U21 team is a massive postive. Better the youngsters are exicted about this! :ayatollah:

id march down the club and protest, dont worry abotu the fact that the window does not open until after july 1st and that Euro 2012 is still going on....give the man a chance for gods sake.

Is it July the 1st yet, people quick enough to slate me, well at least Malkay has answered us. :ayatollah:

The players we SHOWED INTEREST in, were never going to come here anyway! They already had sweetners to go where they went.

As Malky said about Rodriguez - he had to at least try with that type of player....

Agree with that kid.
