The truth is though, a lot of the genuine hardcore fans think that anyone who could risk the future of our great club over the colour of a shirt, isn't a real fan at heart and must have other issues.

If we do go on to great things and become one of the big four teams in the country, do you think the media will say that massive club Cardiff City who have just won the title for the third time in five years, but who now play in red instead of blue, or will they refer t us as that successful club Cardiff City, full stop, did they ever introduce Leeds during their heyday as the club that used to play in blue, NO, did they feck.

why are they risking the future of the club ...surely they would be showing the malaysians how passionate they are about the club

Or want the best for their club.

Or perhaps wants whats best for himself and Sam Hammam.

i do find it funny that one minute i want whats best for Sam , then i want what's best for Alan Whiteley, then I want what's best for the Malaysians, yet i have given a huge part of my life and love to this club for 46 years and no one has suggested I may be doing it because I think its the best option for the club.

Gwyn you contradict yourself so often its frightening. :ayatollah:

for me gwyn any sort of protest should firstly be peaceful and not intimidate others

secondly it should have a single aim........that being to try and keep cardiff city playing in the shirt colour they have worn since 1910

simple as that

no aggro , no we are better fans

because it may well be that the change to red IS the best way forward

personally , I dont think it is

But the truth is, whatever protest we carry out, this years kit is red and the badge is that beer mat, they are registered for this season and nothing that us fans or the club itself van do will change that this season, it's to late.

I accept that gwyn , but what about next season ?

My personal opinion is, if come the end of the year, they have not carried out their promises to us, then we protest like they wouldn't believe it, but until then, let's just give them a bit of trust, i do feel they deserve that at least.

Thats a bit different to what you said last week Gwyn. You said we should allow the Malaysians to invest sufficiently till they could no longer walk away and then protest. You said nothing about waiting till next year. :ayatollah:

I still stand by that view, once they have invested heavily and it is in the form of equity, then there is far more chance they can't just walk away, and if they are tied int that heavily, then they will have to take on board the fans opinions a lot more that they need to now.

In my opinion, the more they stand to lose, the more we have chance to win.

f*cking hell Gwyn thats a big "IF".

I usually role out the "If youre Auntie had bollocks she would be your uncle" line but she would need bollocks like watermelons to compare to that "IF".

I agree with your sentiment its too late to do anything for this season we are stuck with it but I think people will be in for a massive shock come August 19th when we run out at home to Huddersfield in red and black.

Hes paying that via a loan. No different to Bluebird 77 getting a loan from the bank.

Just cos its his personal money dont mean it isnt debt to CCFC

Well actually there is a difference, there are very few people in the world who can get their hands on that sort of money every month to lay out and all the ones i can think of certainly wouldn,t throw it Cardiff Citys way, do you know any???

ive mentioned already the word LOAN wages are the part of it. There is no future reward untill we get to the prem thats a fact if you mean on him getting a return on anything put in but we have had two seasons of it knowing are squad was not good enough to get there the longer we sit here in the championship the more the loans will build and build to a point that one-two season in the prem will not even get VT to break even so the red shorts in the championship must be the big money spinner rite now we had no idea about

What's wrong with you mun?

Loads of red in there which we wore proudly before.

The band on the socks in 61-63 and the 'Echo' and 'Gilesports' in the 90's.

Some of you deluded fuckers just don't know the heritage there is for wearing RED!

That argument could be countered with quite a few see the change as a lack of integrity from the Malaysians and no decent business validation (so far) but each to their own.
