Happy Father's Day Dad, I love you with every inch of my heart and I hope wherever you are that you are safe and well. I miss you so much and I am totally lost without you, you are the best Father that I could ever have hoped for and I was so fortunate and honored to have spent so many happy memories with you. I so badly miss the days when we both used to go down the City and support the boys. It absolutely destroys me to see an empty space where you should be sitting every week down at the CCS, cause to be honest you only ever had two loves in your life and they were Cardiff City FC and Me. Nothing in my life has ever been the same since January 10th 2010 (3 days before my birthday) and with all of my health problems that I continue to have, I just can't seem to get over the fact that you are no longer here with me. Dad, you were taken from me FAR too early but I truly believe that you are in a better place. Everything you have taught me and instilled in me will be passed on to the next generation and I guarantee that you will never ever be forgotten by me or anybody else, I will not let that happen. Dad, I love you and I will continue to do so for the rest on my life. R.I.P Dad. TPH 1950-2010.

I can feel the hurt in your words Geggs, and truley heart felt word they are. I know how you feel and I feel so sorry for anyone who loved there parents as much as you did, but then they go out of our lives much too early in life and we carry that with us the rest of our lives. RIP

Missed this thread yesterday because i was out all day, my Father passed away in 1988 at the age of just 57. He was the man who made me the man i am today he brought me up to say please and thank you, respect my elders and to know right from wrong all old fashione virtues i have passed onto my children.

He was my hero and mentor and unlike many other Dads on here he was a huge Swansea Town fan because he was supporting them when they were really shite and has they went up the Divisions all the way to the old 1st Division we used to have some healthy debates about the virtues of Cardiff City and Swansea City and my Mother used to hate Derby days :D

How i wish i could be having those 'debates' again but all i can do now is what i did yesterday morning and put flowers on his grave and tell him that although 24 years have passed i still miss him every single day.

RIP Dad,
