Well think before you start accusing someone of turning his back on his country.

yes because the only reason I went to merthyr was because I sponsored them and that had nothing to do with supporting the club it had everything to do with getting my business out there to the people of merthyr. At 16 I'm sorry to say but you are making statements which are factually untrue.

You supported Merthyr as a kid?

My anger is mainly directed at the Welsh FA like it was when they got rid of Yorath. On the verage of a good team then put a shit manager in charge to wreck it all.

Why the f**k was my post edited? I'm not being funny but if you're going to erase the 'c**t' in my post then do it to all of 1948's. Same old shit saying 'ban this odious little c**t'.

It was requested unlike his so I went with the option to edit it. It doesn't take away the point of the post so I didn't think it mattered? Your point is the same?

What a travesty of a topic
can we get it back on course? Surprised nobody has voted for the Stadio Olimpico or Allianz
Fri Jun 15, 2012 9:58 am
For a CL final it would have to be Camp Nou, I love the stadium and toured it when in Spain.
But for World Cup it would be Maracana or Azteca. The Azteca stadium is one I really want to go to
Fri Jun 15, 2012 9:59 am
I would love for one to be in the Millennium though. World class stadium which will hopefully be filled on a regular basis one day
Fri Jun 15, 2012 10:14 am
thought the san siro was a shit stadium to be fair... middle of nowhere, poorly laid out, getting pissed on by those in the upper tear..
these stadiums below are quality....
the azteca mexico, amazing atmospheres, and host to many amazing fixture. def for a world cup final
the nou camp is huge ive also watched a game at barcelonas training ground which is 25k capacity!!
for a good looking stadium the louis II in monaco is awesome, but only 20k capacity..
but for one of the best stadiums in the world it has to be the won they used in japan , the international stadium yokohama..
as for a final venue, bernabau or stadio olympico for me. champions league or uefa cup final..

A sell-out Bernabeu, at night, is phenomenal; so that takes my vote. Also alot of those stadiums have either athletic tracks (just no) or seating that is ludicrously far from the pitch. I would also suggest the Millenium, with the roof on, at full capacity.

wembley.i,v had the privalge of watching my team win a major domestic cup there.what a day

For the Olimpico, the atmosphere is always at boiling point and it looks great illuminated at evening time. The tracks aren't great, but they aren't really as much of an issue as some make out.
But yes the Bernabeu is amazing, enclosed and I love the blinding lights,

I just can't see past a fully lit and enclosed, capacity, Bernebeu at night. The atmosphere is one of the best in world football.

Some more suggestions
Millennium
Atatürk Olympic Stadium, Istanbul
Luzhniki Stadium - Moscow
Estadio Monumental, Argentina
Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund
Soccer City , SA 2010 Final venue, with no vuvuzelas
Fri Jun 15, 2012 11:46 am
Borussia Dortmund stadium, the Signal Iduna Park looks very impressive. I wouldn't mind giving that beast a try.

Think the whole package that comes with the millennium stadium makes it a great experience for the fans! Within walking distance of a 100odd pubs clubs and restaurants, 2minutes from the train station, top notch shopping centre to rival anything, a very friendly city compared to a lot of other u.k citys! the millstads location is hard to beat, plus you got a roof to keep the nasty weather at bay lol deffo a stadium that should be getting used a lot more than it is.
Fri Jun 15, 2012 1:25 pm
Amsterdam Arena or The Nou Mestalla in Valencia. Purely cos they are great Cities and not the usual.
