We have 10 mil for players? Didn't we have 5 mil in January? And we are rebranding for this?

£35 million investment for the new season that includes a transfer budget and 10 million earmarked for Langston
We were losing 1.5 million a month, so that's include that
1.5 million x 12 = 18 million
10 for Sam
= 28 million
35-28 = 7 million
Anything else to subtract?

Pretty sure running costs don't come out of an investment injection?

Not only is it not exciting Tony but it's nothing new to Cardiff fans having one man putting £100m of his own money into our club.
Happens every year doesn't it.![]()
Unbelieveable some of the replies already on this thread absolutely unbelievable.

£10 mill goes to sam/langston leaving £25 mil
from that £25mil we are currently using £1.2mil per month (£14.4mil anually) on running costs and wages so up to next year...
so that leaves us just over £10 mil war chest for this year, including wages and agent fees etc.
now thats exciting and great that Tan cleared it up

Ummm, so he's paying for our games to be shown? Like I said, who the hell is going to watch a second division side on TV?!

Your absolutely right he owns a Sports TV station he wants to attempt to sell the clubs games but who the hell would want to watch.
£100m tells me he thinks people will.

Apart from the fact you have included wages twice, you have also left out the fact that club generates £20m p/a itself from Season Tickets/TV Revenues/Sponsorhsip etc.

May be Malaysians (or Asians in general) have a brighter and more positive outlook on life than you have? They are football mad and I'm sure VT will market everything to maximum affect.
Personally I'm extremley excited and I simply can't understand why anyone would want to find fault with a guy willing to give us £100m
