that's why we got to stick together and just carry on supporting the club, arguing and bickering with your own fans and friends is ridiculous!... just trust the decision, whether you like it or not, and just cheer on the players! you support the club, not the colour, our history is still there as our names are on the cups we have won, not the colour! :ayatollah:

Exactly I am against the colour change and firmly against that badge (horrid) but I will still support cardiff

this is a newspaper article from Malaysia, it simply says that Vincent Tan has invested in creating 'the Worlds largest Shopping Mall' in China... maybe this is where he is going to sell our shirts, he'll have loads of major links to the shopping industry in China and tap into the market there!

we sell to a maxium of 3 million people over here (not even that), while there are a billion people over there, i think this is his plan, just what i think! :ayatollah: you 'go changing the colour and icon of a club and putting millions into it just for a laugh!

what do you mean by that just out of interest?

there are 3 million people in Wales, just say almost half of them support cardiff! you then got people outside wales who support us, and many people would like to buy a shirt!... just say all of them bought a shirt now that would mean 3mil shirts sold, while in china they have a population of over a billion!

As has been said before we will probably sell to about 0.01% or 0.1% of the chinese population. We get approx. 10 pound per shirt sold. That means we will earn 10 million a year which is hardly anything to cover our loses

it may not cover our losses but thts an extra ten million a year income, thts a big leap forward in becoming financially stable. with the financial fair play rules comming in any extra income is welcome in my book. i wanted to stay blue but if tans plan actually works ,then its surely a good thing considering if we just carried on as we are were going to be bust soon enough

Oh I agree it will be a great benefit but I'm just outlining that it wont make us profitable like some people suggest

That`s a very impressive development , construction being a major strength of Berjaya group.

Couple of points though

1) did you realise the paper you quote from is owned by Vincent Tan?

2) How much do you think CCFC (if we are still called that in the future) would make as their "cut" of the sales revenues from shirt and other merchandising sales if (and its a very big if) it bacame a substantial income stream? The vast majority of any profits would go to VT`s retail interests and I would be surprised if the club made more than £2 or so per shirt.
