And all this is based on??? The proposal is to get our ship in order so that we can flourish. Franchise clubs aren't allowed, unlike the majority of teams in football we will have no debt and unlike most clubs who get relegated we will have a far better financial structure than all those around us to enable us to push for promotion again. So in what has been proposed to you base your scare mongering on exactly

Annis, i know we don't always agree but i'm with you 100% on this

I'm actually gutted, devastated, sickened, any word i can think of!

I've obviously not managed the number of years as a season-ticket holder as you have, but had one since the CCS opened and havent missed a home game in 10 years, and i can honestly say i'm debating cancelling my renewal for next season if possible, never thought i'd hear myself say that :(

is there nothing more that can be done?

i just will never be able to accept this...

Cardiff City will be playing at the Cardiff City Stadium next season so why are you contemplating cancelling your renewal for exactly? Annis will be there because no matter what he truly loves Cardiff City. I don't mine the colour change, Annis objects but like me he will only ever stop supporting Cardiff City when Cardiff City no longer exists as a name.

yeah well i love the club too hence why i'm sure i will never cancel no matter what, but everyone has their limits just like annis said he would stop going if they changed the club name, and this is the closest ive ever come because it will feel like im supporting a totally different club next season and it will be very hard to take...

With you Annis. I don't know how I can go to matches next season and watch away teams playing in blue in our own back yard.

Now that the decision is made all we can do is boycott and boycott and boycott. I for one won't be buying ANYTHING from the blub shop.

If ths is just a colour change then its happened to plenty of others before.
A quick google found this http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/feb/29/knowledge-managers-changed-club-colours
If the owners want to go further then I think its clear it would be hard to change the name quickly without losing the local supporter base. So if they have that in mind watch for a slow and insidious approach such as CCFC becoming Cardiff City Dragons and then Cardiff Dragons....and so on.

Thats like saying you hate McDonalds and everything it stands for while chomping down on a Big Mac and have a date in your diary to go every week.... Its like telling your wife you will not accept her being with other men while commiting to dropping her to the swinger club every Saturday.

Get a backbone you are not fooling anyone. You are the footballing equivelant of an animal rights activist with a fur plackard.

i'd say it's more like hating everything that McDonalds stands for, but loving the taste of the Big Macs so much that you won't stop eating them regardless.

I don't think that means that he/anyone else doesn't have a backbone - i'm totally against these changes - but as much as it makes me want to protest by not going to games anymore, i just couldnt do it.

Everyone with a modicum of intelligece knows that accepting these changes kills our club in 5 years time - regardless if we achieve promotion or not.

We are a club that will be losing close to £20 million a season.

People seem to think if we don't go along with it we wont have a Club, but hey they ain't gonna walk, i bet they are laughing how easy it was to put the changes in place. Keep our identity or except the changes and believe they will turn us into a top 6 Club.

What worries me is that the Malaysians are not football men. We could end up having sold out and still be stuck in the championship next year or for a few more years to come. This type of situation will lead to much friction and we will carry these scars for years to come.
