So you are study Welsh language and culture then. So what's in it for the taxpayer who paying for your further education ? Is Welsh A-Level a "useless subject"?

Yes it is. Can do a lot of work throughout the world in Welsh can't you ? NOT!!!! Spanish, Russian and Chinese should be the languages which are taught these days.

You really do talk out of your arse. Welsh employers (mostly academic jobs) look for people Welsh qualifications in GCSE and at A-Level.

Complete rubbish, I've worked in recruitment for over ten years and not once has a client asked me for a Welsh speaker.

Now this is hypothetical - if you were in a situation (in wales) where you had to employ 1 person and the final two candidates had exactly the same personal qualities and exactly the same qualifications except one had a Welsh A-Level and the other one had no Welsh qualification, which one would you choose?

Having conducted thousands of interviews in my time I can tell you It's not qualifications these days its more about experience both personal and careerwise. It's also how good you come across in the interview and its highly unlikely that you would get two people who process the same interviewing and experience qualities.

Welsh A-level is, most certainly, not "useless" though.

I'm doing fine - i know who I am and where i'm from. The daft thing is that in many countries they have more than one official language - as a sign of respect to the people who make up that country.
Who have we got - a ridiculed language and not even a representation on the flag of UK.
