We've just had £7m for Rodgers. We don't need to go for the cheap option, just the right option.

Huw got an extra £2m for the backroom staff.

Oh really?
Of course he is. Do you honestly expect loyalty in football these days especially when the opportunity is there to manage in the biggest league in the world, at a club you've an affiliation to?
For what it's worth mind, I don't think Norwich will approach for him as he's simply not good enough.
Someone really is bitter. What utter nonsense. You know nothing about MM, how he works or what he had to work with. Are there any bounds to your arrogance?
It's my opinion. I'm sure other opinions are available if you prefer them.

Oh Huw loves counting the money. Just not spending it. Cheap option.

Aye, we've struggled like hell with him as chairman. We should have gone down your route.

Valid opinions can be supported with strong argument. You fail every time

So from that perspective I assume you believe MM has done enough, and is good enough to be considered for a Premier League job?
While you're thinking about that, ask yourself when was the last time a Championship manager was appointed to a Premier League job?
Then consider how my argument fails.

Where was Martinez when he jumped ship?

With us in the Championship. I'm fairly sure he was the last one, and that was 3 years ago. Which shows how infrequently it happens.

You just can't say that he'll be gone in a flash. Wow, he spent a couple of years at Norwich, big deal. He also spent a couple of years at Watford and Celtic. I actually, genuinely didn't expect Rodgers to leave you, but I've been watching football long enough to know that - just like you rightly say - loyalty is scarce. But are Norwich that attractive a proposition? I wouldn't say so. They're a decent club but we're a bigger one. And before you start laughing, being a larger club isn't necessarily about league status.
And as for him not being good enough, seriously? That's just ridiculous.

n opinion you are of course entitled to, and one which I respectfully disagree with. If he was good enough he would have addressed your obvious failings of no pace out wide and no alternative to a misgiving Miller up front. He did neither and you faded away just as Watford did under his stewardship.
Again, this is just my opinion.
