If you support a football team then presumably like me you want them to win. The ultimate ambition has to be Premiership football and winning trophies otherwise why bother?
As for the second question as Craig said above it is a loaded question which makes an assumption I personally don't accept is true.

Naaaaah!!! Not that important to me, although be nice to have a taste of it for a season or 2, if only to see what kind of impact our fans would make on the prem league! Its deffo not worth loosing our identity over, and tbh I don't see any reason why we should have to lose any of our identity in order to become a prem league club!! We are a big enough city with a big enough catchment area to sustain a decent enough premier league football club just the way we are...if or when we do get there

'winning trophies, otherwise why bother?' Fair enough, but we may as well have just five or six clubs in English football, in that case.
So the 'stay blue' brigade are totally outnumbered ? Really? TGI, you're a personnel manager, right?
The Malaysians have caused divisions, where there were none previously. Believe the money when we see it.

Just getting to the Prem is not everything, But arriving in style with solid financial clout and long term security is, so under these conditions changing the colour & badge is a sacrifice I would take.

Be patient lol the manu's, liverpools, and chelseas will still be there to greet us when we do eventually get over that final hurdle

few good signings by malkay, go out of the cup competions early so we can focus fully on the league, bit of luck through the season with injures etc, and a pasionate home crowd even if were gettin beat, and we will get there

think our passionate home crowd will let us down though pfft

it is everything to get to the prem yes.
to loose my clubs identity to get there ? a big fat NO for me I cant get it in to my head why people would want to sell this clubs identity for success because if we do that then its a different club.Theres only 1 Cardiff city and to me my pride and passion for this club will never change so long as its the same club.
I understand the reason behind the Red thing and the badge and the 100 mil but i would rather stay blue and keep the badge than change things and get the 100 mil because the support and immense pride and passion and love i have for my club would be gone and I just cant change my mind as much i have tried.
For me to watch the city in Red at home would just do me in and the pride I have in that badge is just everything .Take them away and you take me away from Cardiff City and I cant do anything about it.

We might possibly fly to the Premiership, but not as the cardiff City I know and love.
It would be a dog's dinner of a club, with half the supporters wearing blue and the other half red, in-fighting, disagreements and resentment.
If things didn't start off well there wouldn't half be a dark cloud forming over the football club.
I could lose the badge if we really had to, but playing at home in red? it's a disaster waiting to happen.
And no, the Premiership wouldn't be worth it.

Even people who don't watch Cardiff, who live local to me have said in conversation that they think its wrong that we will be losing our identity....
Some of our fans are that desperate for Premier League football, they would have a cock in they're arse if it was worth seeing Robin Van Persie take a free kick at the CCS.

Stud, Its very sad how some of our fans have changed.
They wanted to get rid of the Bluebird and our nickname, also when I asked could our name be guaranteed in 2 yrs time originally they said, they could not guarantee anything.

I love the championship, it's a great league and yes ultimately in sport you have to have ambition, otherwise why bother. The intriguing question for me is, how many people who are only supporting the club to see us in the premier league are going to be able or prepared to pay £600 for their season ticket, because that's something that will happen.

If Premier League football means changing the badge, kit and club colour, no thanks.
In that case it's championship for me.

That will certainly happen, if the Club fails to win promotion within the next three to five years for example, say we finally get there in 5 years, the prices will go through the roof.

So let me get this straight losing your 'nickname' is losing your identity even you're the same person with the same real name, living the same life had you done before , working in the same job, the same family .
All that would change is the nickname (some Clubs don't even have that) or the kit Colour . We still be Cardiff City, still be playing in the Capital only with 100 million invested in the Club and don't go on about how some of our fans have changed , when you change your tune every season (what happened to wanting us to live with in out means ???)
I really don't know how any so called Cardiff City fans wouldn't want to see a chairman spend £100 million on our Club to move it forward and even grow the fan base on the World stage after so many years of Chairman taking Cardiff City for a ride , I still remember the dark days of when Samesh Kumar at the Club .
