Would much rather sign an up and coming striker who is hungry for success like Rodriguez, who's sell on fee would be much greater if we needed to sell him on in the future (every player has a price)
than spending on an ageing player like Bellamy who cannot play week in week out and will surely want at least £25-£30k a week

so for me Rodriguez would be one hell of a signing with more to follow

If you do sign him, it's a total waste of money, he's not worth anywhere near that, if you are going to overspend on a player then at least overspend on a more proven and experienced player. Possibly someone like

I would only go for Bellamy if it was a 500k transfer fee or less, he's another year older. Rodriguez is young, has serious pontial as well as being proven at this level, can finish, has pace composure strength and a team-player. Far better investment.
