As a 25 year old playing for Stevenage in the Conference, would Steve Morison have been able to make the jump up from the Conference straight to the Premiership, without joining Millwall in League 1 inbetween, and then get further experience with Millwall in the Championship to further "develop" his game?

Who knows and who cares? Bottom line is that it's a big gamble and I reckon we can spend that sort of money better elsewhere. Even if he's awesome he chose to go elsewhere so what's the point of worrying about it
